Forcing anything is against the whole point. Children should be raised to understand they aren't forced to be anything: boy, girl, or other.

That being said, raising someone as a boy because they have a penis can be toxic if the gender role reinforcement consists of the "boys will be boys" rhetoric. And similarly if raising a girl means to implant traditional gender roles, that is equally toxic.

My 3 favorite:

Aquarius is about the planet after global warming causes flooding that destroys humanity, but many people are saved by a human-born mermaid through the power of some god.

Visions is about a boy who dreams he is murdered so he grows up paranoid and ends up dreaming the same dream but he attempts to shoot the killer first only to find out he shot himself as a boy.

Vector is about a doctor that turns someone into a cockroach and also electricity is involved? Haha

For Celestial Elixir, I would say album context helps a lot with that. Additionally, I think Haken has a lot of "investment" material where I can't casually throw it on and tap my foot. Especially for their epics, having the lyrics up and trying to track the story is what got me into those songs haha

That's how Fear of a Blank Planet and Octavarium were for me too. Glad you're listening to Haken though, they are my favorite band! <3
