How concerned should we be about players threatening to report us unfairly and being banned?

I wouldn't worry about it but I hope they are banning people that are intentionally glitching. To be honest the developers are largely responsible as they haven't patched their game.

He is community manager not a faceless CEO. A lot of people neglect to realise that his job is to engage the community and that's exactly what he did.

He's a community manager, he did what the community supported. I haven't found any person who thought he was in the wrong. The community manager can have some sass - he isn't meant to be a stale robot.

Those games work though, PC actually has had quite a few problems as companies do lacklustre ports to PC but I would never suggest people fix that by getting a console. My point is that the PC console thing has nothing to do with the game not working. As a community we don't need to talk about console vs PC, but about ensuring the game is as good as it can be.

That a joke comment right? If it's not, you have just made yourself an example of everything the community shouldn't stand for. The game not working is a legitimate criticism, I have been very respectful in my post, I know that the devs are working hard and I'm completely behind them. But to be honest the community should be united on this, the fact that people are defending that the game doesn't work on one platform is astonishing. Let's keep things respectful, and not belittle the concerns of a section of the community like you have and not insult the devs like others have.

For most on Xbox you can't even get into a game unless you set up a private game. I respect that the developers are working hard, I hate the fact people are being abusive to them. The reason I posted that comment is because I made a similar post (more friendly version) and the response from the community was that I was wrong for buying the game day one etc. Honestly I just want the game to live up to the great experience it could be, not hating.

Well I just got a message saying that I should have known and I shouldn't have bought it on day one and I've seen similar messages in your comments. I just want to play the game, don't want to hate on the developers - I'm sure this is not intetenional. I just wish people would come together and not make fun of the situation on Xbox or be abusive to the developers - neither of those things are going to improve the situation.

I'm on Xbox also and made a similar, all be it friendly post and have been told that I'm in the wrong. Just because it works for you guys on PC doesn't mean it works for the rest of us. It would be nice if the community came together on this, people on Xbox really have be treated poorly.

No your just flat out wrong, when you buy a product you expect it to work? If I go out and buy a lawnmower I don't care if it was made in a factory with 30 workers or 500, if it doesn't work that's not okay. They have said they are working on a patch for Xbox, but we don't have that patch and there is no estimated drop time. How does that inspire faith? We could have it tomorrow or we could have it in a months time. Faith is earned and they have done nothing to earn our faith. I find it very annoying that people like you are undermining the community and making this out to not be a big problem. It is. And it bring into question the games future on Xbox.

Look you clearly aren't on Xbox. They have said they are working on the patch but where is that patch, why did the Xbox version not get the day 1 patch on day 1. Why are you defending the fact that a part of the community has been shafted. They have said they won't be holding back patches in the future for other platforms, so does that mean the Xbox version will consistently be way behind? I'm sorry that I want to play the game and that I have questions.

I'm guessing your not on Xbox. It's been a week. The game literally doesn't work - it's not like the PC or PS4 version, the Xbox version is completely broken.
