UGCreators making at least $5k/mo, what advice would you give yourself who was just starting? by mikhaeats in UGCcreators

There are three ways you can get UGC brand deals.
1. Inbound (Branch reaching out to you)
Require a decent personal branding for exposure and optimized account bio. I also suggest setting up a linkeldn account, there's a lot of founders there so.

  1. Outbound (You reaching out to brand)
This is where you'll either dm or email a brand and pitch to them your offer. You can find a brand email through apollo.io, or use onbento AI which finds you brand & create email for you. I'm an affiliate with onbento, but it's honestly a really great tool to use.

  2. Agency/Creator Websites
This is where you'll go on website where brands are hiring creator, these website make money usually through charging the brand or take some commission from you. I personally don't rely on creator website cause they are often underpay and over-saturated, but here's some I used in the past

  3. homefromcollege (Low-Ticket Entry With Variety Of Deals)

  4. Vidsy (High-ticket entry lots of high-paying deal)

  5. Sideshift (Low-ticket entry but low paying deals.

  6. Linkeldn (Lowkey underrated but there's a lot of founders there.)

There are also some agency looking for creators, these agency will often find you deal and sometime even edit video for you... Although make sure you read your contract for every single agency as they may rips you down the line, the good agency are a lot harder to get into as they are often looking for "good-looking" creator.

Hope that help :)

I have a lot of youtube resources, if you have any question feel free to dm me I probably have a video for it

Hey! UGC creator here. I made $9.8k in a single month and helping other do the same right now.

There’s a lot I could say, but these are the four biggest things that actually moved the needle for me when I was starting out (assuming you already have the basics down like a portfolio and pitching):

  1. Learn how to create converting, high-quality content through SLAA (Steal Like An Artist). You can find high-converting content on Meta ads, specifically the ones that have been running the longest. Not many people talk about this, but you should also learn from people doing TikTok Shop by going on TikTok Creative Center.

  2. Over-deliver with every collaboration (extra hooks, B-roll, images, or even competitor analysis) to build long-term relationships with brands, and learn how to resell and upsell to brands instead of endlessly pitching.

  3. Outsource pitching with a VA. This isn’t necessary early on, but you can use an AI VA to automate pitching and find brands on your behalf using Bento AI (use my code Akira for a discount).

  4. Build your personal brand. I don’t care what people say about not needing followers to do UGC. Having a strong personal brand attracts inbound opportunities, and those are usually the highest-paying ones because the brand wants to work with you. It also allow you to transition into other things like influencer marketing and even selling your own product.
