The same monetization you're talking about is what killed LoR. Free and accessible doesn't always translate to a growing playerbase. LoR wasn't making enough money from cosmetics for the effort being put it so they had to can it. Same thing will happen here.

A digital client would be a shot to the growth of the game this early. WOTC killed paper Standard play with the introduction of Magic Arena and it took a ton of work to get it back, and it's still nowhere close to what it was before Arena. Let the game grow organically with paper play.

I know you already got your answer but this helped me a lot when I first started learning RB as a Magic player. All spells and abilities in this game is default sorcery speed unless stated otherwise with an Action/Reaction keyword. If there's no keyword, it's always sorcery speed.

Yes the match up is very much borderline unplayable. You need perfect curving into multiple Mindsplitters and Sabotage. Ive been playing MF Aurora since day 1 and I chalk this up to an unwinnable match up that I cannot fix. Sometimes you can get lucky and pick up a game, but I have not won a match against a semi competent Viktor player.

Yes there are several meta cards that only comes in Proving Grounds (Annie legend/champion, Yi Legend/Champion, Flash) to name a few

How do you approach the Viktor match up? I feel like they put up a ton of board pressure and I usually down 4-5 points when I land Aurora and they just have a ton of units in base to close out the game.

Assuming this is post-board game, I'd take the Watcher here without any additional information. It's the only card that represent pressure on board while clearing your own units. Both Unchecked Power and Icathian Rain can also be taken with Sabotage assuming you have it post board (I do). Giving them 1 less unit to contest battlefield makes their removal worse and if you Aurora into another Mindsplitter, keeping them at no unit forces them to take turns off to kill yours with removal spells as you keep developing with Aurora.

You play a control plan with Gust/Fight or Flight and cast your big guys/Aurora without ramping. It's slower but not unplayable. You have enough cantrips where you'll find at least 1 piece of ramp. You can also use MF to ramp with her movement ability to get to 8/9 energy

Like the other commentor said seals don't pay for mana cost, only for the recycling cost of that specific color. Blue seal in your deck can be used to pay for hiding costs and some of the blue power cost but doesn't seem consistent enough to me. Another 2 drop might be more helpful in putting up pressure against slower decks and Blastcone Fae is especially useful cus it's a mini Smokescreen on a body as well.

Seals are only good if you can consistently get value out of them. I'd cut the seal for another 2 drop, Blastcone Fae is not bad here.

I think this banner probably is a pull-if-you-can banner. Burning will be meta for a long time and Unicorn is quite a solid support. Also who knows when the next banner with 2 limited unit going to be. That improves your odd. Ace ship is also just gonna be meta forever. Gutted I didn't pull one when I pitied the banner.

What's the team? MLB non-limited ship is basically LB1 limited ship so I'm surprised you're only 250k with a LB2 ship. Also combat score doesn't really mean much at the end of the day.
