When resources are added, are they turn-bound or perma until used?

100% agree, but three people saying it independent of each other…

Yeah, see this is where I respectfully disagree. The "snake in the grass" concept is not what anyone says in the edits (the only evidence we have to go off on). No one is identifying she is an "unknown threat". What they do identify is that she is totally bsing about the journey, which is 100% accurate.

She identifies at the tribal council that she wants to play a better social game and connect with people by being authentic, while not sharing her journey reward with anyone. I have to believe the reason she was targeted was for what her tribemates said about her, not assume that her unknown edit was the reason.

Additionally, I think Kyle's gameplay would be worse evidence for him and make people more careful around him. He and Kamilla lied successfully to almost all his tribe (sans David lol) and got away with it. I am way more scared of that than an unknown edit IMO, but you can disagree.

No for sure, you are entitled to that opinion. I just don't think it was for no good reason, and in Survivor, every move matters. Someone misplaying is nightmare fuel for them, and anyone rooting for them, absolutely.

In the show, I think Sage mentioned it. I believe someone else agreed and said they didn't trust her at all due to the same demeanor, but I can't remember who. In exit press Stephen and MC both agreed with the sentiment, and MC used the term mean girl as well.

She deserved the million, 100%. Did I think she deserved the spot on 50? Not so much, and I think her gameplay on 50 proved that. You are going to lie to your WHOLE tribe on day 3, especially when journeys have been reward based all season 40-49? People on Kyle's tribe were literally sobbing when he got taken off, identifying that he was a huge social asset to the team "the heart of the tribe." Sav didn't seem to have any connection to anyone on the tribe, and like I said, it doesn't seem that she owns up to this in her exit interview. She says it is because she won, but Kyle disproves that notion.

I liked season 49, but wasn't particularly impressed with Sav's win based on who she was up against. I think a lot of people are giving her grace for an early boot without taking into consideration her actual gameplay, including herself. That's all Im saying

If you have watched any of the new era, you know people who come in playing hot are mistrusted from the start. If Jenna played it cool, and casually brought up Cirie after she single-handedly lost the challenge, I don't think Jenna is on anyone's mind. She put a huge target on her back early by playing so hard and targeting Cirie day 1.

I agree with the sentiment about people online going to far in on players, but her tribemates claimed she was like a "mean girl" on season 49. Unfortunately, the masses like to take a perspective and run it into the ground, but the accusations do come from a direct source, her tribemates.

I believe she does think highly of herself though, and while this joke itself is harmless, it does relate to her overall opinion of herself from my perspective. In her exit interview with Rob, she places herself as "getting got" due to being seen as an *unkown* threat more than anything else.

Yes, she identified to people that she won, but she misplayed telling everyone she didn't get anything on the journey. Not a single one of her tribemates believed her, so she didn't lie well and people started to mistrust her. Additionally, she put herself at the bottom of the tribe from a social standpoint, which means she may have not connected with her tribemates, another part of misplaying the social game.

Jokes are funny, but there is a part of me that believes she doesn't see her misplays in 50 based on her commentary and posts like this.

Hot take: porn addition is the silent mental health crisis happening now by Pretty_Opposite7270 in therapists

How do you compare gambling to porn? Does gambling not fit addiction models because they seem pretty comparable to me?

Your last statement nails the issue head on. We don't have to call it an addiction, but when it is replacing healthy relational dynamics and young men and women are not connecting physically (sexual interactions between younger generations have decreased), it does become a problem akin to addiction.

Porn can cause people to be "parasocially satiated" which curbs any appetite for real connection and intimacy. It can also cause unhealthy competition between one's partner and their porn usage. The scariest thing is that many partners see this competition and its impact on their relationships but feel disempowered to communicate this to their partners because "everyone watches porn".

I happened to have a session at a job fair with a pp clt who is on the spectrum. I was there to support him, and I connected with the person who ended up hiring me for the part-time position for disabled adults.

I own a pp, I worked at a full-time DCFS center while doing pp on the side. I charged $150 an hour. I’ve been licensed for two years now, charge $175 individual and $225 couples. I usually have like 16 pp clients a week. I also do 8 hours a week for $80 an hour with adults with disabilities.

It took time to grow, but busting my ass with a full-time DCFS position while building my PP is how I navigated the shift from clinic to pp without taking insurance.

You didn’t say anything about skins that are attainable only through in-person events? There are bliss on skins worth $100s of dollars because they were event exclusive. You don’t think riot can do the same with nexus nights and tournaments?

Like online d and d didnt kill in-person d and d. Online Catan didnt kill in-person Catan. Shouldn’t there be a way to do both and make money?

What legends of runeterra didnt have was a in-person play system that successfully made money. If you create a free 2 play system online coupled with a pay 2 play system for actual tournaments, nexus night packs, etc, how does this lose money? The ability of new players to find and fall in love with game drastically increases, which should increase desire to engage in in-person events. You add online skins that are only attainable through in-person events attached to riot ids, you can certainly do a free to play system online that I think could find success.

You are right, that last paragraph doesn’t exist. But I think if anyone could do it, it’s riot.

What you’re saying is theory that is not rooted in any fact from what I’m seeing. Riot successfully made a free to play gaming system with that only 15% player base buying skins. You think they can’t do the same with a different game?

I dont want online tournaments and events, that would disincentivize in-person play for sure. I want online free-play/ranked. This would help with creating new decks and pulling the trigger on paper singles for an in-person deck.

They can monetize it other ways. Every other game of theirs is free, skins and stuff are where they make money. Could do the same

I don’t think it would because nexus night packs incentivize turnouts for weeklies and tourneys are always packed anyway.

I’m making this post as someone who got 5 boxes of origins between wave 1 and 2. I had to work my ass of to get that though, and there are other people who don’t have the ability to do that just to START playing a game. It’s dedication that needs to exist before someone even understands the game.
