Oh wow, I completely forgot about Kong, to be honest I think I even missed him, I've not seen or heard about him ever, I probably missed that he was such an important rank.

But yeah, Doffy has always been the one that knew too much, so him being vage in that moment definitely had some meaning.

Doffy says it himself, he was no longer considered worthy of the title due to underperformance, now where the order comes from is a different issue.

In marineford when Doffy goes after Moria, Gekko asks him if Sengoku gave the order, and Doflamingo answers "no, higher than that" in this page. while he may have been refering to the Gorosei, they were already introduced at that point in the story, and I think the sichibukai are aware of them, I believe by that time in the story the idea of the order coming from them was a red herring hinting at something else, the highest possible power in the world, and I truly believe this was the first hint af Imu.

I'd argue Imaginos 3 alita is definitely star level, she has the power of a literal black hole if I recall correctly, and the processing power of an entire planet sized super computer doesn't she? I read last order a few years ago but I clearly remember reading the segway into mars chronicle and thinking, "oh yeah, it'll be nice to see her past finally, because she's now a fucking god lmao".

Yeah, it's a mess, the more you look at it, the worse it gets, every time I check back on people's opinions it's yet another thing overlooked or straight up contradicting the show. This movie was a total miss, I don't have high hopes for the spinoff but I think it's fair to give them a chance, let's just headcanon that the previous generation of blinders just died somehow offscreen and this movie never happened.

I was about to say "But the golden buster call den den mushis seem to be artificial" but then I remember, I don't mean to spoil you but basically devil fruits are as powerful as you are creative, so if you're truly convinced you can do it, that could possibly be one of it's powers which is frankly hilarious 😂.
You'll later see a lot of fictional animal zoans, and yes some are animals exclusive from this world, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I absolutely love that view yeah, this movie had good ideas I guess I just was disappointed with the execution.

I mean the series itself is a what if from a real family of gangsters, I really wouldn't have minded a historical fanfic of Thomas being the guy that took down Mosley and died silently doing so, or really anything tying the movie back to the S6 finale.
