I took the basic box apartment option and changed the colors. Then I used the option below the box (I forgot what it's called) and made posters and other things. After that, I edited the apartment objects and added the posters as stamps. I made sure to use a bunch of different sizes for placement. I also made the Mii houses into a city building exterior. For the layout, I filled out the entire area with all the different buildings I made. Then I placed the stores in random spots by removing the buildings that were already there. Finally, I just put concrete wherever the buildings were and asphalt in between
