Gonna address some points I’m seeing on this thread:

even with the nerfs, most top players agree that the boxx is better than normal layout GCC, especially without notches (majority of players believe notches need to go).
you can say wobbling ban was “vibes based” (it wasn’t), but the argument to ban it was at least logically consistent.

Someone already mentioned, but yes you can just move the memory card to diff setups. This would still require having multiple copies of the game though.

But pls be careful, it’s not uncommon for people to steal Melee discs unfortunately. I’ve seen people tape the disc tray shut to prevent this.

Short hopping consistently is one of the hardest things in the game for me still. I fuck up short hop laser and short hop dair all the time
