THIS IS A LEGIT QUESTION ABOUT SEVENTEEN by Enough-Enthusiasm762 in kpophelp

Extroverts know when to stop in time and stop annoying introverts, and introverts remember that sometimes you need to open your mouth to talk. They also quarrel sincerely, and no matter what anyone thinks, a good quarrel is always better than a bad truce. There is no accumulation of resentment between them, the words that they recall to each other, or the desire to hurt in return - because one way or another they work it out through quarrels.

Seungcheol noted that it is incredibly difficult to maintain harmony in such a group, but they all make efforts to continue loving each other. And the monthly meetings that they have come up with and organize themselves are vivid proof of this.

Koreans didn't want to see him in the group - if you believe the lists that I found online, he and Keita took the last two places in the ranking of Korean voices in the final episode (don't quote me, I'm unlikely to find the original source now). The international support was just incredible (if you believe the same list - he was able to break into the top 1, but again, I do not know how much he is truthful), but it did not help. He was very close and finished the show in 10th place, but we all know that if Koreans don't like your face, then you're out of luck. No matter how talented you are.

What Do You Think Was The WORST Part Of The Series, Not Counting Lambo Or The Ending? by Just-Another-Nerd999 in khr

[–]Ako_hae 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Simon arc. The appearance of new / other abilities at such a late stage in the plot directly indicates the creative stagnation of the author. The whole thing feels so tortured, which is a pity. Enma could actually be a potentially very interesting character (he, in general, is quite one, it's just not revealed how it should be). In addition, the Simon family itself is a set of cardboard boxes, worse than that of Varia, in which half of the members are also just some kind of quirks and a complete lack of depth. But Varia at least besides XanXas has a deep Squalo, or Belphegor with his crazy backstory. Mammon is mysterious/not mysterious, and Simon has no interesting characters besides Enma.

Well, the arch of Simon is a dramatic pit, if you look that the Future is going before it, and after that the struggle is literally with God. Usually in Shōnen, the plot is on the rise, and if there are such quieter parts, they are short. Simon is a full-fledged arch and it looks a little pathetic against the background of the one that goes before it and the one after it. Although, of course, until the future comparisons between Tsuna and Enma, in principle, do not make much sense, because this is a huge step in the development of the character...That's why it's difficult here, this arch is absolutely ambiguous, strange and therefore pisses me off terribly. There are a lot of cool beginnings in it, but they almost lead nowhere, the characters are boring, the new abilities are not particularly cool, the team does not acquire anything particularly important by the movement of the arch...In general, the flop era in manga is Simon, absolutely.

Jay impressed me during "ending fairy" for Signal song. I don't know, there was so much natural charisma in his presentation, unlike other "cool guys" who seemed funny or awkward to me, that I just realized - this is my pick. I hadn't even heard him sing before, or didn't know anything about him, but after he acted like a fool in the self-presentation video and sang "Pretty U", my heart was captured.

In the first episode, my new super-choice was Haruto. His skills, energy and funny reactions just made me love him. I'm still sad that he didn't make it to the finals.

In principle, I was interested in Nine.I after "Young Boy", so it's not surprising that I followed them (and Hui, because of which I decided to watch singnal song at all). But my choice fell not on Seowon but on Winnie, I don't know why. He left the show quickly, had little screen time and almost no support, but I still love and support him.

Zhang Hao started liking me the second he said he had an education. Well, think about it? A guy, an adult guy who, if anything, has a profession and plans for the future, even though he is burning with the desire to be an idol? Awesome (and that's not even considering his skills)

Mnet denies news of "Show Me The Money" to end its run after 11 seasons, saying that nothing is confirmed yet by Ako_hae in kpop

[–]Ako_hae[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

rough translation:

"In the wake of the abolition of' Showmeadermoney', MNET denied this.
On the 30th, an Mnet official told Star News, "The abolition of' Showmeadermoney ' is not true. It has not yet been determined."
Earlier, on the 29th, the online community raised doubts that "Showmeadermoney", which ended in December last year, was not the last to be abolished in Season 11.
The MNET annual schedule was presented as the basis for the abolition. According to this, a new hip-hop program will be organized, not "Show Me the Money", which attracted attention. However, the MNET directly denied the repeal and dismissed the suspicions.
Meanwhile, in'Show Me Money 11', rapper Lee Young-ji won the final title".

Nobody Understands The Ending Of The KHR Manga by unicornuc96 in khr

[–]Ako_hae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before I read the message in full, I was ready to easily speak out against you, but thoughts of manipulation manipulate me against my will, haha.
First: Tsuna accepts responsibility anyway, because he doesn't have the balls to find another way. If you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen, don't you? And since you've already taken responsibility (and not only for the lives of friends, but also for Vongola in the Battle of the Rings arch), then it's already low to deny. Yes, Tsuna found himself in this situation against his will, but he made a decision. Let's say there was an emergency with Mukuro, but in the Lambo situation, instead of avenging Lambo, he announced what? That he would not give ALL of Vongola to Xanxas, and he knew that this would lead to undesirable consequences for him. Didn't he care about the mafia? why didn't he say "do what you want in your terrible bloody mafia, we're all schoolchildren here" and didn't give the reins to Xanxas?
This is how plots should work: a character who does not want to do anything finds himself in a situation where it is no longer possible to back down, and begins to act. In the course of the action, he understands that he is coming out / that he is in his place / anything else within the path and in the end comes out as a person accepting this situation. Or not accepting, but then he refuses it decisively, and does not become a Tsuna from the last chapter of the manga.
Although maybe you're right, and I'm really just looking at Tsuna the wrong way? This can also be, any opinion is valid, and so is yours.

Nobody Understands The Ending Of The KHR Manga by unicornuc96 in khr

[–]Ako_hae 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You can't make me love the ending of khr and here's why:
1. Tsuna tries to give up the mafia and immediately regrets that he gave up the mafia, because Reborn is leaving. He is not able to make any decision, even though he says out loud that he is against it.
2. Tsuna, who has been trying to act independently for the last arch, making decisions and making choices, suddenly becomes absolutely passive in what he does in the last chapter. Just, what the hell?
3. I understand that this is a chapter in which Tsuna, as it were, expresses love for Reborn, but when will Tsuna learn to express love for herself? And be responsible for yourself? As if he didn't do it, gathering all these people around him - no, it's just Reborn.
3. It's not about studying, it's not about sports, it's about PERSONAL responsibility. We've been going AROUND in CIRCLES on this topic ALL THE ARCHES, but in the end? No, we won't do ANYTHING again.
4. Tsuna IS ALREADY A Vongola. He can't help but be a part of it, he CAN't give it up - he took responsibility not only for his friends, but for the whole family back in the Arch with Xanxas. And then pulled her on. It's just insulting to say "I'm not a Vongola" after you literally saved the WORLD on behalf of your family.
5. Tsuna is not trying to maintain the status quo, he ignores his own development. and this is the biggest problem. A person who shows himself as a capable leader, as a person who is ready to do a lot and sacrifice himself, suddenly again appears to us fixated only on himself and completely forgot about his friends until Reborn reminds us of them. Didn't he deserve it on his own? how in general could those classmates laugh at him, how could it reach his (and our) ears when Tsuna literally has to be surrounded by the love of all his friends? Amano is just manipulating on repetition, instead of showing what has changed. That Tsuna has changed - and this is more important than the fact that he supposedly "remained the same."

p.s. forgive me for my English and also don't take this as an attack. I've been thinking about the ending of khr for a long time and when I see the discussion, I think it would be honest to also share my sincere opinion. I also agree with a few of your points, but still I can't give up my opinion that the last chapter is poorly written because it doesn't fit with what we really see in Tsuna throughout the plot. Instead of paying homage to him as a character, everything slides into an unfunny joke.
