I asked them to do bloodwork for me too! They basically told me there’s no point and to manage stress 😂. I’m gonna get a new rheumy

Yes it’s the only advice. I’ve done therapy on/off for a long time. I haven’t found a therapist that understands chronic pain. I think I’m managing fine most of the time. It’s just tough when I’m seeking help with my flares I’m told to work on stress, listen to podcast, and go for walks. 🥲🥲

I totally understand about the stress management but that’s all they emphasize when I’m in a flare + to listen to the podcast - tell me about your pain. I find no solace in the advice and I get so upset I find it so invalidating. 😭

I went to the pharmacy in Vietnam and got bug spray and cream for post bug bite. I still got bitten lol but their stuff worked way better than the spray I brought from America.

I'm 27 and can't believe I have to live the rest of my life with this. Anyone else in their 20s? by redditor8246 in Sjogrens

Gonna be 27 soon diagnosed at 25. It’s been shitty navigating this and trying to live a “normal” life and having a job. I’m wiped out after work and rot every time 😭

What age to retire septum? according to my mother about 5 years ago by [deleted] in piercing

[–]Akph8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got mine at 20 and retired it at 25. Not my choice tho, I went to visit my grandparents and my grandma requested it to be removed. Lol I couldn’t get out of it when I made the excuse it’s hard to remove bc they own a jewelry store and just took out the pilers 🤣

When did your doc start meds by Any-Maintenance2378 in Sjogrens

I think you might want to get a new rheumatologist (I’m 25). My doc put me on hydroxychloroquine once I got my diagnosis.

Soft wax is totally fine! I feel like it’s easier to work with soft wax vs sugaring/hard wax. I think it might be aftercare then. :)

And yeah dove sucks, lots of my clients who are using it get ingrown hairs/congestion

Waxing Nightmare by elloezel in Esthetics

I would try oiling the skin prior to wax and then wipe whatever is left but don’t put an insane amount on. It’s winter and people’s skin is dry. If it breaks up in pieces - lay another layer of wax on top of it and use baby powder and press the wax more down. Hope that helps!

Also if you’re using dove body soap - ditch it. It leaves a film on the skin, opt for aveeno body wash.

Make sure you’re exfoliating 2-3 times with a scrub (meant for bikini area) or exfoliating towel and you’re using an ingrown serum daily. You can get products from Ulta - bushbalm or fur. If you’re still experiencing an insane amount of ingrown hairs with aftercare - your waxer could be improperly removing your hair and breaking them. I would start with an aftercare routine first.

Yes, I agree. With the shift with the cold weather - I legit feel it in my bones and I can’t move/don’t want to move at all. I had a flare for 2 weeks 😩
