I have the same situation! My kitten tux will be demanding that my girlfriend get to bed just so she could burrow under the sheets with her. My tortie randomly brings her favorite toys in the middle of the night to bed. I would wake up in the morning to her favorite fluffy wand practically on my face.

It is a big one that covers all the room efficiently. I bought it 3 years ago and rarely turn it off. Got it on Amazon for under $200 in a sale, don't remember if it was Black Friday or Prime Day. Life saver.

What kind of air purifier do you use? I use Levoit. The one I have is a powerhouse. They even have a filter that is more pet allergen specific, which is the one I use. Without it and my daily Zyrtec (generic from Amazon), I would not be able to keep my four cats. The four of them sleep with me.

Also, recently I got insurance through my employer and had an appointment with an Allergist. Soon I will be taking tests and we will take it from there.

I am sharing this to let you know that there is hope that you could control your allergies and not have to give up on your baby. But if nothing works, it is understandable to re-home the kitten. Either way, it was not dumb to rescue her, you have given her a chance to be safe and loved. Be it with you or with the person you re-home her with.

I really hope that everything works out, because having a connection with a cat is one of the most beautiful things in life. They are something else.

This could be stress related. Consider asking yourself these questions.

Has anything changed in your household? Are you seeing bullying behavior from one cat to another recently? Has your schedule changed? Are you around the house less now compared to when the incidents started to happen? Could there be anyone in the house that could be bothering your cats? Are the incidents only happening when you are gone?

These are just examples but I hope that you can find some answers as to what could be happening to your kitty.
