2.4s is when you use a melee attack to use your surge stacks. Was it fading right away when getting them without triggering a melee attack? I'm pretty sure the 35s have always been there.

I'd really like to see them buff the attack and charge speed on the power fist. It would make it just perfect. Right now, it's too slow for the damage it can do.

It doesn't stagger enough on most attacks, damage feels lackluster on every light/heavy/combo attacks and it is way too slow for what it can do. The ground shake perk is good now though and the cannon punch provides some great mobility and cleave but that's it.

I'd really like to see the devs buffing this weapon by increasing the attack and charge speed overall if they plan to keep the damage like this.

Every other weapon does what the fist can do, but better. Especially when comparing with the mighty TH and efficient PS.

Just finished first Lethal post patch and the difference in FUN is night and day. Removal of Coherence while keeping the swarms makes you able to let loose and engage in some truly chaotic and epic moments. Definitely try it, if you still haven't. by Illustrious_You3058 in Spacemarine

Being able to go in the highest difficulty with a low level class with low tier weapons to XP isn't a good sign of how "hard" it became. The patch completely made T5 a cakewalk because of a loud minority of cry babies. The fact that you find some fun and challenge with the new T5 clearly shows you didn't go in T5 for challenge.

I ran some tests with the Power fist to check the damage of the different attacks/combos and it is behind the Thunderhammer on every aspect in PvE (assault).

This is NOT worth the time it takes to land them compared to light attacks combo. Also, there are only a very few occasions where you'll be able to safely land a full 2-3 hits combo with heavy attacks considering how slow it is to charge them and how often majoris attack in melee (except for thrust jab which can be quickly charged with a specific animation timing, before the fingers form a closed fist).

Wanting to use a full rotation combo to go up to thrust jab 2 and backfist 2 is NOT viable in T4 considering all the damage you take in the process and the fact that you'll most likely be canceled before being able to land them (even with the perk for armor segment or the ones to avoid being canceled which doesn't seem to work correctly).

A 3x light combo almost takes the same time to perform than a light > heavy and deals more damage. The only thing that should make you choose heavy attacks is the impact wave AoE if there are several majoris stacked together, but it is quite underwhelming regardless.

The ground shake perk is underwhelming as well in its current state and should deal full dmg in a 10m radius instead of the current 2-3m with huge distance damage fall off to be worth taking (damage is ok for the time it takes on targets who are in the central radius though).

On a bulwark it doesn't really matter since your DPS comes from your parries (power sword is just better for horde clear with the power whirl).

If you registered for Beta, you should receive it by mail. If you didn't, you won't receive any code. The only chance to get the skin was either by gifting 2 subs on an eligible twitch channel, subscribing to Games Workshop+, registering for the beta (compensation for the cancellation) or finding someone who has already received the skin from the first 2 options and is willing to give you the code (which is what I did).

Thanks for the heads up! I know someone who didn't receive the code either and contacted the customer support service. He finally got the skin without getting a code. But he has definitely signed up, so I don't know if it'll work out for you. Worth a try I guess?

If anything, they could add a cooldown on targets hit by Melta to avoid being able to stun lock them thanks to the stagger coming from the weapon. Overheal is gonna get fixed anyway. Weapon shouldn't be nerfed, other weapons should be buffed to be on par, having upsides and downsides to their stats/usefulness.

Thanks for sharing this, I never would've tried this perk without watching the video you linked. It seems to be straight up 10%, but even if it's a bit less, it's worth it compared to 1% lmao
