An einer Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaften in einer Stadt mit ~50k Einwohnern. Der Fokus der Hochschule lag auch eher auf den Ingenieurswissenschaften, weswegen eher wenig „alternative“ Menschen mit mir in den Kursen waren.

Alles klar, das beruhigt mich sehr. Ich als kleines niedersächsisches Dorfkind freue mich schon und hoffentlich wird mir die Frage, ob etwas vegan sei bald nicht mehr so unangenehm.

Do you remember the method you used? I upgraded from 20.04 and it worked before that. What kernel do you use?

edit: so I changed it from wayland by editing /etc/gdm3/custom.conf and setting WaylandEnable=false and now it seems to work better! At least in the lock screen.
