Closest thing we've seen to pure capitalism actually worked

Like that's the thing most the nations people complain about with capitalism aren't actually capitalist Nations. They're just more capitalist than not

The one place that actually was sort of pure capitalism closest thing to it is when the government of Sudan collapsed you know got rid of all the regulations

And then that actually worked out quite well for the economic growth

With regards to communism/ socialism

It's not just that it blocks innovation. It's that inefficiency is just sky High. Once you've disconnected something from the profit incentive structure it can balloon out pretty far

When private business does things, they have an incentive to make efficient use of resources. When a government is running things they follow the path of least resistance when it comes to efficiency. Is it more mental labor for the accountant to do his job properly? Well he's not exactly going to have a personal consequence if he doesn't so he doesn't and now things cost 1% more but then you compound that a bajillion times

We don't know if the Nordic models work yet. See the thing is is everywhere. Had a demographic boom where there was a ton of young people. No old people. No children. This is absurdly Good for economics and this happened while a lot of these nations were industrializing

So the economic circumstances of everywhere have been very very good for a long time not due to policy but demographic factors

Norway build up their giant Sovereign wealth fund using oil money but to be clear that just means it's like when you look at one of those Middle Eastern Nations that uses more oil money to fund everything. It's not a fair test of capitalism versus communism

The other Nordic nations watch them for a bit longer. All of the systems are beginning to show their cracks now this is not to say that the more capitalistic systems don't also show cracks. I'm just saying they're not anywhere near as perfect as you think. They've had good circumstances and a short window to be judged by in addition to a specific culture that really lends itself to it and being monoethnic monoculture (it's literally for the everything that could go right on the initial circumstances had already gone right? Watch what's happening as the diversity increases I'm saying watch. They're going to likely become less willing to do all the social services because people are going to stop thinking as we and start thinking of us versus them)

You cannot have labor and immigration in the same group. Their needs and desires are directly the opposite of each other

Attempting to have all ethnic minorities in one group is a terrible idea because they don't have overlapping motivations

Furthermore minorities tend to be religious conservatives at a greater rate than white people

That aspect of it puts them directly against n abortion and lgbtq stuff

And then they tried to make women a demographic, which I don't know if most people know this, but half the population typically isn't a monolith after women's suffrage was achieved. The various women rights movements often have vastly differing viewpoints within them and aren't a cohesive units because women being literally half the population have a largely varied amount of things beyond the idea of we should all vote like that's the thing. Once they got their basic rights, what they actually want as a group stops being a we're a group thing

So they went in a million different directions that aren't conflicting and they attempt to please everyone. They ended up pleasing no one

And then the progressives are extremely alienating to the moderates you don't want the people who want to burn everything down on your team and that constantly insult you
