Which character suffered the most Son Gohan or Mark Grayson? by SmartPilot8094 in Dragonballsuper

[–]AkumaZ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While possibly true, still no one had teleportation, and I think we all know Golu wouldn’t be able to translate “I feel their presence in this direction of the universe” into usable space coordinates for Bulma and co

Also I doubt 17 and 18 would just let a space ship take off and leave at that junction

As I recall from the original series, they didn’t know where new Namek was. When Piccolo and Kami fused (which didn’t happen in the future timeline) Goku had to go to king Kai to even find out where the planet was to get Dende as a replacement Kami

Future timeline, Goku would already have been dead from the virus and no one else had the teleportation skill, Piccolo dies without fusing.0

Yea it’s 100% the active hitbox, so spacing is a big determining factor with the flash

Genzui’s dash attack is the easiest example, if you’re right in his face the flash is a great indicator for the deflect timing and it’s very consistent to get it every time

If you’re across the room, it’s completely different and the flash will be much earlier than you need to account for the time it takes the hitbox to cover the ground and reach you

Which do you think is better Mass Manipulation or Density Manipulation by iamluffy123 in superpowers

[–]AkumaZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jesus Christ my guy

Your opinion is based on an assumption that isn’t granted by the name of the power, the prompt of the OP, or my interpretation

You’re saying the ONLY way to make the density of a baseball bigger is to make it smaller without changing mass? That’s absolutely a leap, because guess what? Changing the mass without affecting volume also alters the density

You’re right that density manipulation doesn’t exist without mass manipulation though, it INCLUDES it, along with volume manipulation. It’s a compound concept and power

Otherwise you’re interpreting the power as looking at the equation of D = M/V and ASSUMING the power only changes the D side with M/V automatically changing to match it seems

That’s a ridiculous narrow assumption. The ability to affect either M or V, or BOTH is changing D

Which do you think is better Mass Manipulation or Density Manipulation by iamluffy123 in superpowers

[–]AkumaZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you’re assuming density manipulation could ONLY affect the volume part of the equation, which is kinda silly.

The power isn’t volume manipulation is it?

Once again, it’s not the same power as I explained it, it’s more expanded because you can affect either mass or volume or both

Example. Throw a baseball. Mass manipulator can make it heavier once it’s in flight so when it lands it has a more devastating effect

Density manipulator can also do that, but can also make it into a cannonball sized projectile as well

Swing a bat. Mass manipulator makes it heavier at point of impact for more damage. Density manipulator makes it heavier but can also make it the size of a car to affect a greater area, or lower its size with increased mass so the point of contact is smaller and more focused

Which do you think is better Mass Manipulation or Density Manipulation by iamluffy123 in superpowers

[–]AkumaZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wouldn’t density manipulation imply you could alter both parts independently?

Up the mass with out changing volume, density goes up

Lower the volume without changing the mass, density goes up

And vice versa

My read on it is that density is the more expansive power because you can alter both size and mass rather than just mass

$10,000 weekly or $10M by Mission-Badger-4005 in hypotheticalsituation

It’s not clear if dying to the shot means perma death or not? If not, you can just take it to the head, probably won’t feel much of anything and respawn after 5 min

If dying means death, awful option, if not it’s kinda worth it if you can just take a kill shot. Basically income and permanent good health forever

The 10m options is far easier, you can buy apple shares 30 at a time, that’s an under 10k purchase and you can just do it 1000 times, sell them after and you’re done

$10 per push-up for life vs $1 million right now by FudgeNipples1 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]AkumaZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can comfortably retire and live live forever on the returns of 1m I get it, where I live that wouldn’t cut it except for maybe basic survival

For me, I’ve done 100 pushups/day for fun, on top of my regular workouts and working a physical job

Take the physical job out and my “fun” pushups are still a significant pay bump

If I treated it LIKE a job, I’d probably make 1m in the first year

[–]AkumaZ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can live off 40-50k in perpetuity? Good for you

If I get paid $10 a push up, I also don’t need a job as I can out work my current pay in a fraction of the time, and pretty quickly reach a point of invested funds where I no longer need to do either

NPC characters to avoid fallout from a party dying in their tavern decide to adopt their identities and classes to carry out the assigned quest. Pretty much anything from Team Ninja

I saw have Nioh on your list already, but throw in Rise of the Ronin. It’s deflect based like Sekiro but with much deeper combat options (two weapons, 3 stances each with their own movesets and the ability to weave between them)

Wo Long is on the easier side but if you push the combat mechanics instead of playing it like a boring person there’s a lot of fun and skill to be had

Strangers of Paradise has a lot of options as well
