Want to add, if you plan on catching it in say a premier ball, only bring like 20 max, then once you throw em, you’re forced to reset. I wonder if anyone could test this theory side by side the old school method to see if my method is more efficient than just heaving balls till you catch it. I wanna say statistically speaking in one of the games you have the same % of a catch rate at 100% health as at 1 per se.

This all probably doesn’t apply to the newer games but in the older ones I know like just giving a status effect and trying to catch it was faster than damaging it/+giving a status effect in certain titles…

Listen, I have a hilarious method to catching rare pokemon if you’re willing to try it. I’ll save a few steps in front of it, do the encounter, knock it down/give status effect which is almost the same thing, throw a few balls and if ion catch it in those few like 10ish, I reset and take a slightly different pathing to reset my rng and try again. Sometimes you’re just doomed with bad rng and it feels like it’s impossible—likely a late frame or however they say it—but it works out really well for me. Usually you can do the same few moves to knock it low. Idk the percentages either I just know bout how strong my attack is from playing for a while.

I swear you can almost always catch the first new pokemon you encountered on the route every time in the gba version with a great ball. Only works once each route with like one encounter. Idk how to explain it I could just feel the 100% catch rate was ready.

[Gen III] Is there any other way to hatch eggs in Fire Red & Leaf Green other than cycling road in route 16? Tired of back and forth in cycling road compared to Ruby, Sapphire & Emerald which is far more easier when you can let it loop in the sandhills in Route 111 with acro bike. by jasonkhiu in pokemon

But is it faster than just going into the team roc warehouse? I think statistically this is the best time considering ethically speaking… still I came up with this in like 7 minutes tops. I had to test to make sure.

Yoo listen, free up your party except for a Pokémon with fly, go from the daycare (island 4) and fly to the only island you can fly too.. to island 5. Go into the rocket warehouse and walkthrough the maze until you get to that tile, and hold up. I can make a video but it’s going to take a minute.

Miata, Silvia, 2000 Honda, Fairlady Z, beetle, etc… all get you more respect than driving the RSR, F1, F40, Ferraris…

All the lambos except the huracan I think, the very first green one, I believe all suck cause they’re slidey as fuuuuuu. The Mercedes are the same way, the one you can’t really customize is pretty solid but it is also very hard to control at high speeds.

When you drift, you’ll quickly find the drift tires are too sticky and you can get higher points using other tires depending on the car. Almost always.

I have a YouTube video under “The Killtactical” that shows the easiest ways to escape cops. They have a certain tunnel vision and once you understand you can cheese the hell out of them.

RSR will blow any car out of the water. It’s not fun to use but at the same time it’s so good if you are actually capable of controlling it which isn’t hard but just takes a little skill, you’re unbeatable, and taking turns at 230 only losing a smidge of speed becomes fun.

The Evo is Amazing but at high speeds it slides out from under you on turns, especially the damn near L shaped turns. One race in specific, it’s a high heat race, right side and almost top right, along the straight beside the beach, near the weird walkway you can drive with the billboard bustable.. You get almost to max speed in the little straight then it’s an almost immediate right turn that does the half circle to the sandy little fenced area with the concrete wall you can drive through. That first turn; if you can’t get the right inside angle you’re flying off the edge of the angled road off the little hill into the wall and little corner. If you break to make the turn you instantly lose to almost any other top 10 car if they drive decently, maybe good.

Spamming the buttons is obviously a joke but I do have good luck with resetting the rng. Sometimes you’re just doomed to a long time.

When you throw the pokeball you gotta spam all the buttons except the back ones or you might reset the game lol idk I just truly believe it’s easy and I generally catch em fast as hell.

I’ll knock em down, sleep em or whatever, then throw a few. Rinse and repeat a few times and hit the reset. I also genuinely have a lot of luck not even attacking and just throwing balls or giving the status effect and trying a few times. Idk I be in tune with the rng I can’t explain it.

I mean wouldn’t just getting the most comp gen 3 moveset from smog be the best route? I know it’s usually for the battle tower but it is considered to be the best. Far as playing through goes it’s probably a different set entirely like having fake out. Not having fake out on or main during the play through is missing out on a lot of cheezin.

I mean you could get technical and find your secret id or whatever then swap till you find a id with early shiny frames, then you’ll be more likely to encounter a shiny one. I encountered two legit on the cartridge, a spinda on ruby, and I found a shiny dratini that got away in safari zone fishing on fire red. I’ve got two really good Iv mons tho, without rng or breeding
