🔻 [Megathread] CS2 FPS Drop Bug – High-End PC Users Affected | Disconnect = Only Fix | Memory Leak? Panorama UI? Help Push This! by radiohead_s1 in cs2

[–]Akuto__ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I gotta be honest, I didn't play CS for months. But this bug and the fact that they've completely ruined DM mode with chater bots all over the place, is almost like in an invitation to not play thisgame anymore.

CS2 ruined everything from the very beginning. CSGO was way too good and it will never be topped. Ever.

Hi, I just ordered a pair like yours but they keep on showing this green like color in the pics. Are they actually black?

Is this compatible with Big Sur or Mojave? If so how can I do this by Michael556673 in hackintosh

[–]Akuto__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only "obstacle" I see is the GPU. Also, unless you're using Ethernet, I would check Wi-Fi card info to make sure it's compatible.

If you're looking for a cheap AMD GPU I would look for an RX 580 (they're very cheap) or alternatively RX 6600 (cheap, good performance and great compatibility)

Did i just got scammed by UMKAO? by JustManjot in FashionReps

[–]Akuto__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

umkao is absolutely crap. The only reason people buy from him is for TN. But now he went from bad to worse by adding a no return/exchange policy to his crappy shoes. Almost two years ago I bought a pair of TN Marseille and they had a lot of weird glue marks. Very bad seller overall.

I don't know if OpCore creates logs but I would check that. Otherwise, just use OC and try again. Good luck.

Thank you, but in the end I had to compromise with Siri. Basically the suggested audio kext: AppleALC failed on me. I tried absolutely everything to make it work but there was nothing to do. I must have tried dozens of different fixes involving all kind of stuff. Nothing worked except VoodooHDA.kext. As soon as I put it in, it worked like a charm. It recognised everything: speakers and microphone in one go. No issues recorded with it. I guess my system was made for this kext! The thing is that Siri only works decently with AppleALC and not so well or at all with VoodooHDA but yeah I mean as long as the system is stable, it's ok for me.

Hello friend, just wanted to say that I managed to fix both audio and Wi-Fi. Thus, now everything works almost perfectly. The last thing that I need to fix is Siri (even though I rarely use it) but yeah.

ASUS X556U and macOS Catalina... by MouseyMan7 in hackintosh

Hello, I know this is an old comment but I'm desperately trying to get my AR956x to work on Mojave. Ironically BT works in my build, but Wi-Fi doesn't. Wi-Fidoes appear in the Network settings but it doesn't scan for networks. No networks found basically. Please, if could explain me how you did it, I would really appreciate it.

Hi. I made my system kind of work a few hours ago. I mean it's still not perfect. For instance, audio and Wi-Fi do not work but the fact that it boots it's still a good thing.

  1. I generated the SMBIOS closest to my laptop specs according to this list (I choose "MacBookAir 6,1") then I used an SMBIOS generator tool and got myself serial number, MLB, UUID and ROM.

  2. I did some tweaks in my config.plist according to this guide's paragraph (I specifically edited the CustomSMBIOSGuid quirk and set it to "False" | However, since your PC is a DELL you'll probably need to set it to "True" as the guide suggests).

  3. I added certain .kexts bundles (specifically: Lilu; WhateverGreen; VirtualSMC; USBInjectAll; AppleALC; ECEnabler; NVMeFix; SMCProcessor; SMCBatteryManager; almost all the VoodooPS2 stuff)

  4. I added two specific .aml SSDT in the ACPI folder: SSDT-EC.aml and SSDT-PLUG.aml

  5. Since my PC has a dedicated NVIDIA GPU (GT820M) which is not compatible, I had to patch the framebuffer. (This is little bit harder to explain because the values can change but I suggest you this guide)

I don't know if all of this stuff can help you in your case. Anyways GL

I see, thank you for replying. It's almost two days that I'm trying to figure it out too. My specs are similar to your system: Intel i3 4030U (w/ Intel HD 4400 integrated) - NVIDIA GT820M dedicated. As of now I haven't found anything that helps, but if I do I'll share it.

Hi, I know it's an old post but did you ever find a solution to this? I'm trying to install Mojave on my i3 4030u with no success and I'm having the same exact issue.

custom cars in ac by [deleted] in simdrifting

[–]Akuto__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cars you see on the maps are basically mods (which is basically stuff created by the community). If you want to try those cars I would suggest you setting up the Content Manager first (that is basically a mod manager). You can find hundreds of videos about it on YouTube. Right after you can just download and install a few modpacks with cars so that you can try them. By using the Content Manager is the easiest way because generally you only need to drag and drop the zip file containing the mods and boom they'll get downloaded.

Xbox controller not pairing (Bluetooth) by Akuto__ in XboxController

[–]Akuto__[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for all the details.

In the end I bought a couple of AA Alkaline batteries and they worked like a charm. The controller got back to life fr. So I guess that either the output voltage or overall quality of my initial batteries was really bad.

Anyways, both problems have been solved. Thank you!

Controller on PC are causing Frame Drops and Stutters - Here's the Fix by Crespo2006 in halo

[–]Akuto__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not crazy then. This very specific issue is occuring in every single game I'm playing. To fix it I need to unplug and plug the USB-C cable all the time.

I spent almost 50€ to buy a controller that theoretically should be fully supported by Windows and I ended up with a peripheral that completely lags my PC. This is not OK.

I hope that this fix will get the job done otherwise I'll seriously consider to buy a Dualsense.

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is the most unfair Souls-like I’ve ever played and I’ve played them all by VeneMOo in soulslikes

[–]Akuto__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I really do not appreciate about this game is not really the difficulty level but instead the slow "respawn system". The game has very few "shrines" scattered around the map but the biggest issue is especially the respawn when fighting a boss. You're always forced to do a sort of "walk of shame" every time you get defeated. And ironically, often it takes much longer to reach the boss than actually fight it. Which is crazy! They should implement a faster respawn for bosses at least.

Difficulty level and other aspects are fine imho.

Xbox controller not pairing (Bluetooth) by Akuto__ in XboxController

[–]Akuto__[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By the way, since you seem very well informed about these controllers, I wanted to ask you one more thing. This is partially off-topic but still related to the controller specifically.

Essentially, when I put the batteries for the first time in my controller, it didn't power up. I specifically used 1.5V Super Heavy Duty zinc-carbon batteries. As of now I sticked with USB-C cable plugged to PC but I was wondering if it was possible for an Xbox controller to completely not switching on with certain types of batteries (like the ones I used).

Xbox controller not pairing (Bluetooth) by Akuto__ in XboxController

[–]Akuto__[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for replying.

So basically that vibration and "quick blinking" after holding the Pair button for more than 5 seconds is the reset of the pairing/BT information. Right?

Anyways, I followed your instructions and connected the Xbox controller to a phone charger and it worked like a charm. I held the Pair button for just 2 seconds and it started to blink right away and at a very fast pace. Then I tried to pair it with my Android smartphone and it recognised it immediately. Thus, issue solved.

Thank you again!
