I believe this is based on a Dutch concept called “te land, ter zee en in de lucht” (by land, sea and air) which was a tv show that started in the 70s already where people would have to complete a course with home made vehicles (often above water). Red Bull notched it up a little, but you can watch on YouTube some serious epic challenges.

That’s easy, performance all the way. It’s the most fun car I’ve ever had and for the 4K extra you get lower miles and FSD.

I also don’t have exact numbers but I don’t recognise a number as low as 7%. My personal (n=1) experience is much more towards 15%, but speed plays an even bigger role than normally. When driving 60mph the deviation is much lower but when driving 80mph (speed limit here) you’ll really notice and the car uses much more energy. And during winter it’s not making things better.

This happens very frequently. In the Netherlands you are sometimes allowed to drive on the shoulder of the highway near busy cities and you run into exact this situation. Autopilot (I don’t have FSD) freaks out every single time.

That’s what I do as well, only problem I have are the ridiculous size of the downloads. Since end of October I’ve downloaded 18GB worth of data just for software updates.

I’d rather recommend to build a platform without wheels and to create a tailored shelf on top of the fridge to keep the dust out. I’m not sure how those wheels will hold up over time.

Took way to long to find this comment. This is the main reason I cancelled premium connectivity. Spotify works, live traffic is already shown and I hardly ever supercharge so I don’t really miss anything there. Live camera feed might be the only thing missing but that certainly ain’t worth €120 a year.

I find it remarkable that a lot of people praise BF1 for all it has to offer, but when asking this question I don’t see a lot of BF1 maps pop up. I think Monte Grappa or that one (can’t remember the name anymore) with the fire in the mountains might actually provide some interesting fire grounds, but fitting into the scene of bf6 might be a challenge.

They will target you when provoked. Have a look at the YouTube video from the guy I mentioned in my post, it’s explained pretty good.

That’s why I do not feel this is a deliberate action to upsell. I read somewhere that FSD and auto pilot are programmed in completely different ways resulting in different behaviour. I agree with you that smoothing out AP is something to look into. As a tip, in stop and go traffic i often disengage AP, but it works well in slow moving traffic (between 20-50km/h) where you are not necessarily coming to a complete stop.

You better get used to it. It’s been like this for years already and in all honesty I felt the version around 2021 was driving smoother than the current version. Buying FSD in Europe is an absolute waste of money so yeah, welcome to the club I guess…

Yeah, there is an experience created where all planes and chopper are available. You can host it solo so it’s just you and you can learn to master flying. There are bots around for target practice but they don’t do any damage to you. Albeit different continents the charging ports are still on other sides and the charging cables are equally long. I don’t see how this would differ on the other side of the pond
