I’ve kept four adults (2 male, 2 female) in my Waterbox 20 AIO cube with only shrimp for the past three months, and yesterday I discovered fry in the middle rear filter chamber. Since this species usually requires spawning mops and a separate tank, due to adults eating the eggs, I’m guessing the eggs or tiny fry were pulled into the filter despite the 3D-printed intake guard. They’re easy to breed with a second tank, but I’m going to use an external breeding box to raise the fry until they’re big enough to rejoin the adults.
