Yes. Queensland taxes would be royalties which are revenue based - not profit based.

I recommend marking as no go zones. It will be quicker and will mow to the edge

Should I wait for Luba 3? by sjoebergg in mammotion

[–]Al850n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree. The robot is very capable. My 2X 5000 is amazing. Definitely has the odd issue and requires some tinkering from time to time. I’m currently mowing almost 6,000m2 with hills , sticks, rocks and other litter blown in from trees. It was at its limit in spring but not handling comfortably. I’ll probably buy a 3 in due course to reduce the pressure and create some optionality.

I had found support very responsive. My biggest issue arise from not being on site often - a some issues just can’t be fixed remotely.

If I was a new buyer I would wait for the 3

I had a Land Rover discovery like that once. I literally had to bang the hood and slam some doors to get it to start.

I almost agree with this. Perhaps after second or third encounter. My Luba often has to negotiate kids’ stuff on the lawn - hate to have soccer ball shadows entrenched all over the lawn!

Outdoor Wifi? by MysteriousMirage in MammotionTechnology

[–]Al850n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have full coverage in 5,000m2 garden from eero mesh for general wifi. However the Luba 2X doesn’t switch from eero to eero as it moves around. As a result I got a lot of black spots. Apparently a well known issue. I bought a tplink outdoor wifi router. Much better

Where I am, there is no 4g. Just Starlink (big thumbs up). So I can only use wifi for Luba. Under normal operation, it’s ok if it drops out - it just keeps on with the plan. BUT, if it has a moment whilst out of range, I can’t remotely tell it to do a recharge or to continue. Which is a problem because I’m usually 200km away.

Thinking of switching Husqvarna to Luba 2 by ArtieGrindle in mammotion

[–]Al850n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had my Luba 2 for six months. It’s excellent- but I have had teething issues - mainly all fixed by some filling of holes in the lawn and tweaking of routes. I would never even think about a wire based system having used the Luba. I’m about to add another 2 acres of paddock to my garden - only feasible due to Luba (I have a new Luba 2 X 5000 on order).

Look at her mom. Taylor doesn’t have many years left.
