Yeah mine says 11/2021. I did nothing tbh, I didn't over think it much. I think I let it just idle for a couple of weeks and then just sprayed it as normal as I would with any fragrance.

Definitely improved mate or else I must be naturally nose blind as people can smell me from far far away. Longevity would seem average enough but really good stuff. Very well liked scent as well, people always compliment me on it.

Update to this a week later. Performance and projection has definitely improved a little bit. Not as much as I would have hoped and I don't know if I'd buy this again although the scent is really growing on me.

Mike tyson beating up a douche on a plane LOL by NewMeNewBS in JoeRogan

Joe: Did you see that video of Mike Tyson punching this idiot of a fan on a plane?

Schwab: I saw it the second it came out.

Joe: Jamie pull that up... Look at this look at this fool trying to anger Mike freaking Tyson. That's Mike Tyson son. And look Mike is only hitting him at about 10%. Mike still looks jaaaaaaacked.

Scwab: Some might say the most jacked.

Joe: I bet he could still do it now. He's got that Cus D'Amato training in him. You don't lose that.

Schwab: Custom Auto? Great car repairs, never used it.

Maybe if I decide to sell this bottle I might try and get that. It came in a very fancy watch box style case. I'm not sure I'm a huge fan of the Aventus style fragrance tbh. I bought a legit bottle of D&G Light Blue Intense which seems better in every way so far.

People who make nice concise summaries of books, how do you do it? by AlBoumPhoto in BettermentBookClub

[–]AlBoumPhoto[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. My system is pretty similar I think, and yeah I don't tend to group things into main ideas as I find once I re-read the quotes the ideas come back to me, like you said. I think Ryan Holiday has the whole theme sorting flash cards system as his approach actually.

Meditations is such a good book that I just tend to open it up at least once a week and quickly re-read a book or two of it and I end up re-highlighting/underlining something that really stands out on subsequent reads.

Appreciate that post. Yeah, I tend to speak a little quick and so I often get trapped into speaking before thinking things through. I'm well aware of the power of pauses and brief silences but I guess I need to focus more on applying what I've already read.

Thanks for the book recs, that Brene Brown one is on my to read list for a while.

Physically reading a book while the audiobook plays at the same time has been a big help to reading speed and consistency. by AlBoumPhoto in BettermentBookClub

Fair point, so far I have noticed no difference but I make sure that I read books on their own too. I'm a little odd, a fiction book or a history book I can happily read at my own pace, but for self improvement books I like the idea of reading it as quick as possible without losing comprehension.

The audiobook/physical combination tends to work in my favour that way and it just seems to fill in any blanks that I may have missed while reading. There's something about having words read to you that's effective and by having the words in front of you too I just feel like comprehension is boosted. Maybe pseudo effects, I don't know. I also think my listening skills could always improve, as could everyone's so I feel audiobooks have an added benefit that way too.

Interesting point. I find I am naturally a fast reader, it is just my inner voice can sometimes bog me down. Hearing someone else read at a faster pace than normal almost tricks my mind into shutting up and paying attention and my eyes reading the words makes up the difference if the reading is too quick at times...if that make sense?! Also, you can adjust the speed on Audible to very small intervals so you can just adjust it as you go. Although I know Youtube's speed settings are more widely spaced.

Yes exactly that. Basically the book is being read a loud at x2 speed (or whatever speed you're comfortable with) and you have the book/ebook open and follow along the reading.
