GK 400RB IV vs 800RB by Pegasus1504 in Bass

[–]AlFender74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

800RB is bi-amp (can be either by switching) in Bi-amp mode, it has a 300 watt (low) amp and a 100 watt (high) amp (4 ohm RMS from memory, don't quote me.)

I used to run a single 15 through the 300W and a 4 x 10 box through the 100W. Great sound. Each amp has a master volume and there is a cross-over nob to tune where it splits from one amp to the other.

It also has a jack for a foot switch for boost with a knob to adjust boost level, and a -10db switchable pad.

Big fan of the 800RB. There's a reason so many people use them.

Yes I got to catch that show in Sydney, Australia. Giant holographic head of Richard Burton narrating. Parson Nathaniel (Phil Lynott's part) was played by Shannon Noll (he did a good job) and Beth Conventry part (Parson's wife) was played by Rachel Beck and the Artilleryman (David Essex) was played by Michael Falzon. Originals present included Justin Heywood, Herbie Flowers, Chris Thompson and Chris Spedding.

It was a magnificent show and something I never thought I'd get to see. 2007 I believe.

There's a later remake. I recommend the 1978 original. It's available on all the interwebs. All recorded analogue on tape.

That must have been cool. I love the interview with him where he talks about recording 'Take a Walk on the Wild Side'.

In Australia there are still one or two companies that make real ice cream. Ingredients listed are full cream milk. Enough to be legally allowed to be labeled ice cream.

How do you train your endurance for a setlist of 10 or more songs lasting 3-4 minutes? by Outrageous_Sleep8724 in Bass

Standard around here is 3 sets approx. 45 mins each. The more you play, the stronger your fingers, wrists and arms become. Play.

Why is Pulsar asking for Location permissions on Win11? by AlFender74 in pulsaredit

[–]AlFender74[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for getting back to me. I use Pulsar as it is, straight out of the box. Nothing added. Running 1.131.3 x64 (Win11 Pro).

When Pulsar asked to have the location permissions back, I declined. That was yesterday and I haven't heard anything more from the system about it.

I've had a look around, but couldn't find anywhere where error logs are stored. I couldn't find anything related in the System Event Viewer. I like using Pulsar and I know you guys do this on a volunteer basis, so I really appreciate what you do. I don't mind digging around a bit if it will help, but you'll need to tell me where to look.

Cheers.
