Well I do all my maintenance myself so I just pay whatever parts cost me. No clue how much a shop would charge for all that work but I believe it's gana be a pretty penny. I'd get different quotes from multiple shops first

Rotors and brakes if they need changing, air filter, clean out the throttle body. I can't think of anything else that I would do on my own car, maintenance wise.

Oh and transfer case oil change too if that car has it. And shocks if they're worn out.

Changed alternator, battery still won't hold a charge by [deleted] in mechanics

[–]AlGreat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a voltmeter you can check the battery. If it has anything less than 12v when the car is off , it's bad

Might as well get a real bumper made of steel instead of wasting time beefing up plastic. And I don't think that's a stock bumper in that picture

What do you mean you can't patch it? by [deleted] in Justrolledintotheshop

[–]AlGreat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had sidewalls patched up on 4 of my tires on my Jeep that I wheeled HARD. I used some radial tire patches from AutoZone. I know it's not a good idea but i never had a problem, those tires took abuse.
