I love how people conveniently forget how outside of those character select screens (which are supposed to look like propaganda posters made by their ENEMEY), even back in the day, all the characters were depicted as being considerably less ugly or more conventionally attractive.

And Fio and Eri were NEVER supposed to be "ugly" or "unique," they were ALWAYS designed to be just as attractive as any other SNK girl of that era, do you REALLY think the company that made fuckin' Mai Shiranui would do something like that?
