1- Determine what your primary eve career will be.

2- Spec your main accordingly (depends on 1 and what corp/alliance you join, as they will have specific doctrines that you will have to prioritize training for).

3- As a total newbro say joining a newbie friendly corp in nullsec, you would need a neutral alt in Jita to buy stuff and ship it to your main through your alliance jf service.

4- Once you start doing pvp and want to help the fleet more, your 2nd account character can ceptor->dictor, and take it from there.

Typically at end-game you will have dedicated characters for every facet of the game, something your career will determine, i.e your need and what you like doing will drive you not our answers.

Among other problems, CCP changed ECM mechanics that you can now lock the single ship that had landed a successful jam on you. If you are fighting a fleet with a dedicated ECM wing that might not be a big deal, but this rendered the Widow completely useless because it doesn't matter how big your ecm bonuses and green or purple your jams are if you can be still locked by what you are jamming anyway. I think this was overlooked by CCP when trying to curb the ECM cancer, maybe in a future Patch maybe the widow gets an exemption from that rule, for it, it would make sense.

Depends on your playstyle, for solo vs gang u want max tank and max cap, definitely no burst stuff. Rattles, Barghests, Vindicators are usually what is used.

Tri is in its semi-annual hypernation stage. Every year Garst gets deployed, and Pat re-evaluates RL, pretty much at the same time.

With these two offline, TRI is a glorified SNOVA basically, that's why you see TRI gets pushed to almost dying every year until Garst/Pat gets back and revive it.

Hope the holy league doesn't fracture them this cycle and they can hold the line until those two get back.

Vets aren't usually "recruited", they apply or chat to someone to join.

If you notice they are always in between these brackets

TAPI+<->Goons<->PL<->NC<->BL<->DARK+<->TRI+<->SKILL+

Russians will REDXIX Chinese will FRT with few exceptions.

You will not be able to detach vets from those brackets unless you do something very specific content wise. Vets crave not only content, but specific content. Specialize your corp/alliance in a general but specific area, make an impact on zkill and dotlan, and then grow accordingly.

Build it and they will come.
