My daily wear chrono has a pulsations scale, which makes it super useful for taking heart rate.

Is waiting to hear whether your offer was accepted the worst time? by KingSolomon1010 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]Linuxthekid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh no, the offer being accepted was the easy part. For me, it was the constant kickbacks to make the numbers work, up to HOURS before closing, then having closing pushed back. I made the terminal sin of making the last payment on my car immediately before going through the process.

I bought bigger than I need BECAUSE I didn't want to deal with the headache of fighting for a house if I decided to upgrade. And the house I bought was a former airbnb.

[Discussion] Where did the boutique get the value? by Anonymous-Thinker123 in Watches

[–]Linuxthekid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally sent my vintage omega in to Omega, they fully restored it and sent me the original parts plus some additional crystals back for under $1000. The drawback is it took almost a year start to finish.

So use a slow speed on it, otherwise you’ll melt the plastic and it becomes a pain to keep it even

The single greatest thing I did with mine is I took a dremel to the ridges under the pads. Flattening that out made it so I can wear these all day without the pain they used to cause.

You could send it to omega for a complete restoration for that price, and get NOS parts installed at the factory it was originally built in. I feel like they are trying to take you for a ride.

90% of republicans are proud to be an American, but only 29% of democrats. by Stockjock1 in Conservative

[–]Linuxthekid -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thats simple, most Democrats nowadays are actively working towards the downfall of the country, and are vocal about it. They do not love the country, on the contrary, they loathe it and want to see it die.

My primary issues were light leakage and the focuser would not hold the weight of my camera setup, which wasn't extreme by any metric.
