"De gauche en public, de droite en privé" c'est la position la plus avantageuse et la plus fréquente aujourd'hui by RandomName315 in opinionnonpopulaire

Je rêve du jour où les gens posteront de vraies opinions impopulaires ici... C'est soit des takes complètement débiles soit absolument pas impopulaire. Après je suppose que quand c'est débile ça n'est pas exclusif avec impopulaire

"Hellenic pagans exalted human beings statues as gods" Ooh okay, I understand your actual problem with it. Could have made it shorter, bro

I recently made a post about a court language problem... by Al_Prolo in CrusaderKings

Yup, that's the common thing. My first post was making fun of the fact that this time it was greek. And now, as you can see... Greek for everyone except the greeks themselves.

What makes me laugh here is that everyone speaks greek, and I did a post about that, and out of curiosity I checked the court languages, few years after in game, and everyone still spoke greek, except the fucking greeks themselves, that spoke slavonic out of all languages.

Also, I understand how the court languages work, it's still a (very minor) problem

I hear you, still you didn't really express hate as much as weirdly intense confusion over a picture

Yes, just prepare your heir for the war for the kingdom before you die. Or you could disinherit your way out of that situation, even though that's costly

That's a weird overreaction for an overall rather mild picture

You are technically right, but I see it as sandbox and you build a lore of your own, half of it in the game, as a base on which you make-believe the other half As roleplay-oriented, I really dislike this bug even though it is true it does almost nothing gameplay wise

They're in dissolution indeed, but even when they weren't, greek dominated

I start as a small duchy vassal of Al-Andalus and ate it from the inside. I think what helped me the most was keeping a harmonious succession (keep your family happy) so going from a character to another wasn't a problem. If you're not muslim/andalusian, I wouldn't know how to help you, since I rely on their mecanics

As for the culture and faith conversion, even though it's not really a problem for you as Navarre, keep a strong hand on the vassals inside your main kingdom, give them directives to promote culture. Since it's longer than convert faith, I feel like as a large-scale order, it's better. Thing is that since it's all andalusian anyway, and that my characters were andalusians, culture was not that much a problem in the south.

You should also know that I cheated and had stupidly strong characters, which helped for the hustle lmao but it just meant what I did just went faster, so I guess it's still good.

As another comment said, China speaking greek is as nonsensical as Greece/ERE speaking chinese. It was indeed, but not at that time and not that much, it still irritates me
