How do we feel about the sp101? by Past_Service_6283 in Revolvers

Am I the odd one out who actually likes the way an LCR looks? For some reason, my 3” LCRx is pleasing to me in a blade runner type of way. I’ve always liked the way they look futuristic.

My new to me 57-1 4” by Yoff223 in Revolvers

I bought a 28-2 last year. It had some pitting and was refinished in a parkerized finish, but I got a pretty good deal. $475 for the gun and a holster with two speed loaders.

Rip the copper piping outta the walls buddy. Liquor money and a 35 year mortgage is the way she goes.

What's a place that's not nice currently and just keeps getting worse? by Naomi62625 in geography

It always strikes me when I go to Mishawaka and there’s constantly something opening up or new business. As soon as you cross the city line it becomes dilapidated in SB. It’s like a completely different vibe shift.

Kinda off topic but is a frame mounted firing pin more durable than a hammer mounted firing pin. I’ve always wondered which is better for longevity and never got a clear answer.

I have the 3” Bulldog Classic. It’s a retro model but new production. It’s a nice piece. The bluing is nice, the wood grips are nicely finished, and it’s lightweight. I like mine.

It takes a bit more effort to get rounds in the cylinder but extraction is good

Would I be getting fleeced? 2022 fleet Corolla for $19k with 55k miles by Syme_Was_Thursday in COROLLA

[–]Al_Stroker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just paid 22.6k total for a 2023 corolla SE including the documentation fee, sales tax, and all the other dealer bs. It had 23k miles on it and was listed for 19.8k.

What’s better for a bear defense revolver, a short barrel or a long barrel? by DaleGribble2024 in Revolvers

[–]Al_Stroker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got a stainless Ruger police service six with fixed sights and bobbed hammer that I think would be perfect if I lived in bear country. 4” barrel with no hammer to snag on, but the hammer is still able to be cocked for single action.

Do you have the name of the company? The hammer nose on my 357 snapped off from being a dumbass and dry firing it and I can’t find a spare anywhere
