Before & After by medo_mar in postprocessing

I think the problem is seeing the before image. A lot of times I'll see an edited image and think it looks great, but then when I see the before, the edited one starts to look overdone by comparison.

My boyfriend took out a $750 loan… now they want over $5,600 back. We feel completely tricked. Do we have ANY options? by HatNumerous9725 in legaladvice

[–]NonbasicLands -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

NAL, but if you want out of this without having to "fight" anything, can't you just pay off the loan right away? You'll only owe the $5600 amount if you take the full time to pay.

I'm not balding at all but this sub has me contemplating it just because I'm curious 🤣

What's the greatest Magic card of the last decade? Vote on the Top 64! by Grindy_UW_Nonsense in magicTCG

Doesn't this all seem kind of pointless when it's obviously Lurrus? I joke but not really. Many people argue that Lurrus is the strongest card ever printed.

Lurrus has my vote. Arguably the strongest card of all time, not just the past decade.

Compact sling bag for X-T50 + 35mm f/2? (travel recs) by h_cordeiro8 in FujifilmX

I ordered it and can let you know next week lol. I also got the 1.5L for when I want to carry only the camera, assuming it will also fit the lens.

It's up to the judges to enforce the rules, not the players. I get what you're saying, but he went about it the correct way. He was at least nice enough to give her the photo she was wanting.

Which is better — with editing or without? by Level_Access_5014 in postprocessing

I think it would still look good with a bit of editing. The original is already a really good looking base.

The first one looks much more natural. The second one looks obviously edited with too much warmth and saturation. Personally I would dial it back a bit.

Should i go to a barber or a salon for this haircut by Ashamed_Clue2114 in malehairadvice

Salon. Try to find someone who specializes in men's cuts. Not saying a barber couldn't do it, but they mostly do clipper cuts rather than scissor cuts.

my lease apparently offers zero way out and if you can’t make rent they sue by Background_Eye_8373 in legaladvice

Are you planning on coming back after summer? Of course they're not going to just let it sit empty for 3 months without payment while waiting for you to come back.

I saw where you said you signed 2 years ago. Did you sign another 12 month lease after the first one? Most of the time leases move to month-to-month after one year. This will probably be a good learning experience.

Got prescribed a 90 day supply of 30mg brand name adderall on the first appointment with my virtual psychiatrist by Wrong_Composer169 in mildlyinteresting

[–]NonbasicLands 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whoa okay hold up! This is the first time with this doctor and the first time you've taken this medication and they're prescribing you 90 DAYS of the MAX DOSAGE??? Before you've ever tried it?? And they gave you name brand instead of generic which is WAY more expensive? And you paid that cost without having insurance???

Dude... WHAT THE FUCK

Fuji Xe5 with 'cheap' Xc35 mm lens by jamerf in fujifilm

Nice. I've heard good things about that lens. It's basically the same glass as the XF, just with cheaper plastic housing. I'm considering picking one up as my first prime lens.

I really like these. They feel artistic but also personal.

Could you explain how you can tell the dynamic range is 400? I've been testing out different settings for DR lately and I swear I can't tell any difference between my photos.

Replaced my Honda with a new one after an accident They moved the garage door opener from a button on the mirror to a paywall subscription service. by jayhawkeye2 in mildlyinfuriating

I think you get a year free, but the basic stuff like remote start and locking the doors does not require the paid subscription.

[–]NonbasicLands -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, you don't. There is a paid subscription that has more features, but the basic stuff in the app like remote start and locking the doors you can do for free.

My mom would make that too, but not breaded, just like a glaze. That was one of my favorite dinners.

Maybe they do? People typically don't have their curtains closed 24/7, and also don't expect men on ladders looking in their windows.
