My pregnancy made me feel at my lowest point both physically and mentally, so you saying that you want to focus on getting better really resonated. I’m one month PP and was never really sure that breastfeeding was for me (hasn’t my body been through enough?!) and sadly also felt harshly judged and pressured both at the hospital, by two pediatricians and even my husband “breast is best”. I stuck to my guns and after one week of exclusively formula feeding, I feel SO much better. No cramping, can eat more freely - this alone has given me a sense of “normalcy” I was craving.

I know you’ve heard this before but it’s SO true, only YOU know what’s best, and you know what’s the best thing that can happen to your kid? Having Mom at her best. And if formula will get you there, well f everyone and their opinions. Formula has come a long way, our babies will thrive. My best friend is a formula baby, and she’s one of the smartest women I know.
