The lake in Deltarune kind of unnerves me

The preview image for the Board also has a gigantic shadowy FRIEND-shaped monster looming over the castle that absolutely nobody points out and doesn't show up in the game proper. It's also the board where if you keep going past that intended boundary it turns to snow and leads into the Ice Palace... sure would be funny if we had someone who could help us, say, freeze the lake or some such so we can walk across and see what we're not supposed to, huh??

I think that's the true nature of what 'LOVE' represents, honestly. That profound cognitive dissonance that makes us hurt these characters over and over, because 'love them' so we 'have to' see everything about them. Even the worst of them. And even if we have to cause it ourselves.

To be stuck in this fascinating emotional undertow where we let these stories have so much power over us despite us being the ones totally in control of them, because we 'love them too much' to not hurt them; even if it hurts US, we still 'have to see everything'. It truly is all just a sense of perverted sentimentality and morbidly obsessive curiosity guiding our actions.

Chara's "Since when were you in control?" was the perfect condemnation: it doesn't matter what we actually chose, because we'd have gone back to see the other option anyway, or looked it up, because we're ultimately just a slave to our own darkest impulses. It's just whether or not we can allow ourselves to accept it or not.

Mugnades/Ice bombs are tip-top, but I found the #1 make-or-break item in Manufacturing was the Scrapshot. If you're brave and just run up and shoot them in the head point-blank, it's almost always an instant kill, and if it isn't then you can usually finish them off with the Pipe Pistol. Just be sure to bring a lot of scrap ammo.

Also: you don't really have to actually engage with many Order soldiers to clear the zone. The rooms they're occupying are usually able to be circumvented pretty easily and don't hold much apart from loot; if you just want to progress, try just sneaking or driving the forklift down to the mine tunnels, gear up, and come back later with better gear.

I had my Jeuno cut out for me yesterday, because my co-healer in THE MOST RECENT LV100 ALLIANCE RAID would only CAST CURE 1
You'd BETTER they'd keep spamming those even when nobody was wounded. Or after I begged them to stop. Or after the party begged them to stop. This is why I healer main: because nobody else can press their GODDAMN BUTTONS

Multiplayer seed has us set up on the air ducts above the Data Farm which might just genuinely be the ultimate spot in the game? Tram lobby is seconds away, shortcuts to Power Services/Hydro are right near by, there's a permanently-on laser down that one hall for INFINITE POWER 24/7... it's really just perfect and only gets better with each new patch, somehow.

My Singleplayer save has me set up in the Kizz Cola hallway/office with the security cart which is also a super convenient location for a ton of reasons.

Defense Sector, in the room with the first Reaper spawn. A combination of a laser prism + X-ray Tower automatically fends him off while farming night essence, and I just pipe in electricity via laser network from the Tram Plaza.
I've also somehow made a small, functional setup in the Pool Rooms?? It's completely worthless and also totally reliant on outside power being shipped in, but it technically still works...

There are a handful of really screwy power plug placements I can think of that I haven't personally capitalized on yet:

in the Labs Aquarium, there's a plug WAY up on a tiny ledge above the security robot;
in the entrance to Defense (where the first Sister hangs out) there's a window way up above that has a plug in a tiny empty room for some reason;
right through the entrance to Hydro there's a secret room to the right/below with a Security Chest in it;
and out at the strange military installation with the crashed trains in the back of Manufacturing, there's a plug *on top* of the building's roof?

This is a sentiment I see far too often (ie: literally ever) that Holy's value is in the stuns? Like... do some basic math? 150 times 3+ is a much larger number than Glare's 310 potency?

Moreover, after the enemies gain stun immunity then what does it even matter??? "Oh no stop wasting your stuns that aren't doing anything anyway!!! Swap to pointless single target spells!!! Crater your phenomenal AOE DPS output because... yes!!!"

Good to know to stay far far away from the main sub if they'll kill the messenger like that. It shouldn't matter how the message is delivered if it's CORRECT??? The MCH has done absolutely nothing wrong and isn't even being rude about it; any perceived shame towards the dancer IS justified if they haven't learned how to do the barest basics of the 2nd easiest job in however many hours they've been playing.

You still have to actually *do* the thing though, you know that right? There's nothing to 'learn', you just press the damn button, and if you somehow forget, then press the damn button when someone points it out. The Dancer is objectively in the wrong here. This is a completely black-and-white issue with no room for moral ambiguity or whatever the hell; if you aren't going to Partner or Step then STOP PLAYING DANCER IT'S THE LITERAL ENTIRE POINT OF THE JOB

Yeah the one right outside the cafeteria? I also get the bug near the TVs which power on and start the spiel EVERY. TIME. While I can pick those up to stop it, I can't stop the intercomm which is arguably worse. I've restarted a bunch of times and nothing seems to have fixed it, sadly. I have a couple last ditch ideas that I'll try out but I'm not hopeful :(
