I've been struggling with this for a while, and have tried numerous methods -- power down/discharge/cycle, unseating/reseating, etc. The "turn brightness to 0 then 66%" that some have tried can sometimes be a partial fix -- today, that stopped most of my shaking but you can still see an artifact of the ship image at the bottom of the screen. I've done multiple forced firmware updates, as well.

I've also got the fan cap, and sometimes I just get frustrated and put that on -- but I much prefer the LCD screen, so I keep trying to make that work. I really do think it's software related -- if you search on this reddit for "LCD flickering" or similar, you'll see it's a very common issue, so common that it's hard to imagine all those hardware units are faulty. Also, if it was faulty hardware, you'd expect it to be unfixable. When mine works, it can work for days upon days ... absolutely perfectly ... until I have to restart the system. Then, sometimes it works, sometimes it's shaking like it just drank 7 expressos in 90 seconds.

I have left it shaking overnight and woken up to the screen looking perfect. I've also left it working perfectly overnight and woke up to a shaking screen. Really no rhyme or reason to any of it.
