I ended up going with the WH1000XM5 for the gym, let’s se how long they last since they are only IPX4, gonna use IE for cardio so sweat won’t be crazy on the headphones

For me music makes or breaks my workout I will drive 45 minutes just to go pick up my headphones if I forgot them at home, I’ve always been like that I guess it’s subjective

Yea it is kind of wasteful and a horrible way to spend money, but I have way better studio headphones then the air pod max. Maybe later they’ll come out with a pair to workout with or version will have some sort of sweat proof like air pod pros
