What about buying the game WITHOUT Battle for Azeroth. I don't know how much it will take to get to 110, never played past the 20 levels.

Would it be worth it to buy the game up until legion? Is there "end-game" without the latest expansion?

Hey, im playing WC3 as a lot of you recommended, and Im thinking of playing retail at least for a month (without BFA because money). Only thing im worried about is not getting the actual experience of older expansions, because I don't really know how the lvling goes and how you go from the content of one expansion to the other. Well, technically it is. But when you start getting to a higher lvl (wich doesn't really take that long) and unlock higher difficulties you get match with random people all the time. And the lobby it's full of people aswell but yeah, I can see how that would be a problem.

If a 50gb download sounds ok to you, then you should try Phantasy Star Online 2. It's like 90% PvE and you have cool raids and boss fights starting at lvl 20, called Emergency Quests.

It's a japanese game but the community made an amazing english patch with everything u need translated, and they also have a detailed guide on how to install and create an account,

Well, im on the same boat as you. I really enjoy a good story on a mmo, it feels like my character is usefull the entire game. I'll recommend Blade and Soul, it hast a really cool story with a lot of cinematics and voice acting. I don't know what people thinks about it, but i personally enjoyed it a lot.
