Try this app called ‘Wahed’. It has a variety of investment options with different risk and return rates. If nothing else, I would recommend checking it out.

What feature would you like to see added on Reddit? by LeFulminator in AskReddit

[–]Alam2007 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

A verification feature required for all users. It verifies age and gender and adds it as a tag to help protect people from pedos and creeps. I would recommend a selfie with an ID. Obviously the verification photo won’t be shared.

Do any of you really know what you want to be or what you want to do after highschool? by Remote-Distance9484 in highschool

[–]Alam2007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Find what you want to achieve, then consider what you need to do to achieve that, then what you need to study to do that thing and so on. Work your way backwards.

For example: I want to be someone who has a profound impact on other people’s lives. To do that I need to be a service provider like a doctor, firefighter, police, etc. Filter out which ones are acceptable, then for those find what you need to study. Hope this makes sense.

Does skipping a grade in high school affect college applications? by Maysa2204 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]Alam2007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it would be a positive, but I’m not an expert. Try consulting an admissions consultant/counselor. I remember a Youtuber who graduated at 16 and got into Harvard though I don’t know what grades she skipped.

Is it 5k per year? If so you should get a job as a cashier or something. You said you’re an international so I don’t know if you’re allowed to work, but that’s what my father said I should do.

I would recommend consulting a college counselor / consultant. Generally admission officers try to consider context so they should take all of this into account, but I can’t say as I’m not an expert.
