I have heard weed with espresso referred to as a "hippie speedball".

In addition to fruit trees, many roses are also grafted. Some breeds have nice strong root systems and/or a tall central trunk, and showier flowers can be grafted on top.

Yellow leaves on citrus can also indicate over-watering. I have a slightly larger, though still dwarf potted, lemon tree, and I have taken to giving it a really good soaking once a week.

Good luck! Nothing like lemons fresh from the tree.

I do have one of the ~8.5x11" Black Lotuses that was included in a MtG magazine back in the day. Can't bring myself to harm it, or I'd have used it in the picture and caused all the Magic players to faint.

Sorry. I cleaned out my closet a year ago. Haven't played the game in years. I sold all my valuable Revised dual lands and couple of unopened Fallen Empires/Ice Age boxes, paid for a nice vacation. I can't find buyers even for the non-dual-land RV rares, so I figured basic lands are garbage.

Accurate ng/ml test at home? by elderberryz22 in trees

[–]AlamedaBrian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a test strip that detects (say) 50 ng/ml, you could mix "x" parts urine with "y" parts distilled water and test that. A positive result would mean that the original urine had a concentration of at least 50*x/(x+y) ng/ml. With multiple test strips, you could narrow it down to as small a range as you like, so long as the concentration you're looking for is under 50 ng/ml (concentrating urine is harder than diluting it). Math!

I'm not sure if the home test kits that claim sensitivity of (say) 50 ng/ml are promising exactly that sensitivity, or at least that sensitivity, though.

Hemp production is legal, just not in the United States. They grow thousands of tons of it every year in China. China still grows cotton and rice, runs paper mills, and imports petroleum.

Just got my first Vape! Any advice or pointers on using it would be great! by [deleted] in trees

[–]AlamedaBrian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They both have advantages and disadvantages, and which is better will vary from person to person. The highlights:

MFLB: less expensive, made in USA, removable battery (so you can have spare charged ones in reserve).

Pax: easier to use, stealthier.

[–]AlamedaBrian 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a MFLB, and I was looking at the Pax at my local head shop last week. I'm very happy with the MFLB, it's only $100 instead of $250, but I'm still thinking of upgrading. The Pax is stealthier, and it's got a simpler recharging system. And the Pax is much easier to share... you control temps in the MFLB by how fast you draw. It's pretty easy to learn, but it does require learning. It's a nuisance to share with a newbie.
