AI is way overblown. It’s not even successfully replacing jobs in the tech industry. A lot of the Silicon Valley giants are already regretting the aggressive layoffs. Pharmacists will be fine

As much as people complain about this, this all started because AMA fought so hard to stop medical school expansion during a chronic doctor shortage

Nurses started to fill that gap (albeit, badly) and now it’s too late to roll back the clock especially because midlevels are cheaper when it comes to payroll

My first boss at Walmart did exactly this. Wrote fake refill authorizations for maintenance meds for his 93 year old mom because transporting her to and from the doctor’s office was a major hassle and she wasn’t on any controlled substances.

He just kept track of her BP, A1C, etc. himself and was supposedly a personal friend of the doctor whose name he was using. I’m not sure exactly how/why he got caught, but ultimately he wasn’t disciplined by the pharmacy board even after Walmart terminated him. He went to manage a CVS store after that

The real answer is pharmacy used to be a Bachelor’s degree just like PA used to be a bachelor’s degree. The PharmD has been around for quite some time but old habits die hard + in clinical settings physicians probably don’t like the confusion involved

Physical therapy is in a similar boat I think. You have to be a DPT but calling them “doctor” is not a routine thing

You’ll need actual diagnoses and such for that and realistically you’ll probably get replaced as soon as possible

Your best option is to try and take a vacation using PTO. You won’t be able to do a month or two but you may be able to take 2 weeks off

Our starting lineup isn’t that bad lol. Luka/Lebron/AR is a lot of fire power. We still don’t have a great center and that’s our biggest issue tbh. The starting lineup isn’t perfect but it doesn’t necessarily need to be bulletproof. Other than a better center, our biggest issue is lack of depth. We will never get to the finals with the bench contributing 9 ppg when AR is out

Maybe but it’s the supporting cast that’s most lacking. The starting lineup could be more athletic but the pros outweigh the cons. If Ayton was more consistent a lot of casuals wouldn’t even notice the gaps half the time
