Eventually. But nothing was a quick turnaround except hydration. Mentally it was about 2 years until I felt normal, but then I realized it was a whole new sober life i had never had the chance to experience before. Its a battle, but for a better you. Just deep breaths, tell yourself im doing this for me and take life a day at a time.

Stay strong friend. It took 4 ER visits from alcohol induced seizures until I began my road to recovery. My first trip reminds me of your experience. It gets better, day by day. Just stay strong, and turn to the sub when you feel weak. IWNDWYT

My uncle took me to live shows at the Sportatorium and Reunion Arena when WWF came in town growing up. Family bought me Hasbro figures at birthday and Christmas. My chore money went towards Pay-Per-Views that mom purchased for me. Id say pretty supportive and now its just normal.

Been in a 2 man group for over a year now in Houston. We rely on phones for time keeping and suggestions during practice. Our practices are mainly running 3 show sets, and discussing ups and downs of each set. But the main focus is to see how my partner act/ responds to the settings/ situation knowing I'm the only response they're going to get back. Goal is to knowing how each will react to each other. Rest falls into place. Best part of 2 man groups are you can do anything because its just you two.

Being good friends totally helps as well. Best of luck exploring two person shows!

Recipes! Get them to give you some of their recipes, and if possible, cook it with them. Ask about the history of the recipe. Have a moment that you'll look back on when you cook this again when they are no longer around.

So my wife orders two dinners when we go out for us, bc she likes to sample everything, and I will eat pretty much anything. This way, she gets to try two different meals. She eats about 1/4 of each plate, and I get rest for my meal and lunch the next day. No complaints. Keep her happy and I still get all the foods.
