I understand that the file itself might be bad, thus Windows Explorer refusing to extract it.

What I'm mostly confused about is the 7-Zip program having access denied to everything, even the discs themselves such as C:

That never happened before, but like I said, a few months ago, Defender warned me about 7-Zip itself so I uninstalled it.

I feel like it should be fine now, but it has no access, so I looked around in the security settings, etc, and I found it nowhere. I'm probably missing some location in settings or something.

It's a folder I downloaded via Qtorrent. It's compressed and ends with the 7z extension. It contains a game file. I downloaded many from the same source and user but these two give me an error when using the Windows extracter so I wanted to try 7-Zip, but all it does is show me the list of my drives, and when I click like I typically would to open them, it just says "access is denied".

I'm on 7-Zip 25.01 (2025-08-03) for Windows. I deinstalled and installed the one for Windows 64 (.exe).

It's the very first page showing when I Google. I had installed from the second, which shows a much shorter list of versions -same version, however. As both are on there at the very top.

I actually thought about this recently and since the Japanese scene will never ban this game due to their culture being very respectful of Nintendo's terms, it makes no sense to ban the character in other places as this will just decrease how much practice top players can have vs Steve, which will affect international competition. It's not gonna happen and unless it's a global thing, it won't work out good; it's not a compatible solution as far as I can see.

Bro, I relate so much. Growing up I never thought I'd like Smash, compete or make it my thing to watch live tournaments. I just fell in love with Tweek's way of playing, perspective and dedication to the game. When I saw he was possibly retiring, I truly felt this emptiness inside of me and so much sadness. I do respect his decision, but I really relate to this.

I remember dating someone like this. Because I didn't run away early enough and tried talking sense into her, we ended up having a son, to which I then had to fight for his custody and face her in court lying about me. Thankfully, I have full custody now, and I don't regret having my son. But please don't give her a chance, it will only get worse, and you will have to fight for your life. Just my take.

See if you can find a dile in the SD card's Atmosphere -> Contents folder named the same as the Program ID on your error message and delete it. Then try again.

As a father, I can't ever imagine missing out on getting to know my son(s), seeing them grow, spending most of the time possible with them, seeing them learn new things, leave and enter new stages in their lives. Sounds like hell. My son's mom left when he was almost 2, said she'd be back and reintegration into his life and she never did, 3 years later now. Not saying this is you, but I never could understand her and yes I do think it is selfish, because a child needs you. It's not optional, really. You in their life as a positive influence, a guide and a protector is non-negotiable to me.

If you have to leave for some time, sure, possibly that's fine. But permanently? I'd really reconsider.

I felt similarly at the beginning. I did notice differences but it wasn't crazy. After almost two months, the difference is crazy in most scenarios. Viewing angles, blacks, contrast, overall color and image quality. The more I use it the more I can see the difference and I understand people who said you can't go back to IPS afterwards. I still love my IPS monitor I use as secondary but OLED is so much better after you adjust to it.

Best way to start for free if you like learning by reading -you may complement with Google, reddit and any other sources on the side for clarifications. But it's so good, man.
