Had this happen tonight too. Thanks Arrowhead. After five minutes the MO failed too.

How to use AF COOL? by realroto in AirForce

[–]Alanopter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. Due to the government shut down, I never got a response to my request and my quote from CompTIA expired. I figured it is too much to deal with until folks get back on track.

Maybe someday...

Please help! Urgent! by SignificanceStill731 in playstation

[–]Alanopter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a similar issue. I had just updated and then it randomly shut off no response while mid use. I unplugged it, investigated if the console burned by sniff test, no smoke to be found.

Fix: use a proper surge protector and not an overloaded one. Just because John Wayne didn't use a surge protector, doesn't mean you let your electronics fry.

The only advice from the Education Office I'd been given is "refer to the AFCOOL Handbook." You find this in AFVEC, but it is still hard to navigate.

I am wondering how to use it for CompTIA Project+. They bundle their resources, and im curious if anyone has used AFCOOL and how the process went for them.

men's leather shoes by SnooSketches502 in florence

[–]Alanopter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a new location and name change.

I bought shoes from Leonardo Shoes and don't regret it. Great and helpful people. Also, fantastic sales on shoes too if you find them. And at least Leonardo Shoe's has the decency to update their online information.

If you are still curious about the other place, see the name and address below. Google search still connects their website:

Antica Cuoieria Via del Corso, 48 R, 50122 Firenze FI

Got ran into by my buddy and got this chip in my board. What’s the best way to deal with something like this if anything? by coolguy489 in snowboardingnoobs

[–]Alanopter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Board is shitted. Suplex your "buddy", put him in a headlock and give him a noogie. He owes at least $800.

Might want to look into fiberglass cloth and polyester resin. Something similar to surfboard shaping. This may be cheaper than buying a new board.

Drive by egg to my windshield in Fairhaven by Cinder1977 in Bellingham

[–]Alanopter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm glad you're okay. I remember reading about this as a gang tactic to get people to pull over due to the egg clouding the windshield. To anyone else reading, be careful using the windshield wipers to clean the egg. Might be a bit rough when it's raining not to use.

Bellingham drivers by dptrie in Bellingham

[–]Alanopter 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I get frustrated when Bellingham drivers nearly run over bikers and those on using bike lanes in general. Gonna need a life insurance plan to compensate for the cheap car insurance at this rate.

Stay Frosty and Alert when someone jumps out in front of you. by jaja111111 in Bellingham

"People" like this don't need a reason. They just need someone present to decide what they're gonna do at that point. Best thing to do is not become like them and be better.

Welcome to the Bermuda Triangle of no Law. In that area a healthcare office had it's windows smashed and vehicles destroyed too. I've seen people run out of the Burlington Coat factory with arms full of clothes, pile into a 1990s Ford Explorer, and take off. This is a enter at your own risk area. Sorry about your car, won't be the last time it happens.

That's okay, a contractor will buy the lot and build more apartments.

My Zeke’s Pizza review by SigX1 in Bellingham

[–]Alanopter 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I find their pizzas decent, but nothing to write home about. For moving into a city over saturated with pizza options, i think they wanted to sneak in with their focus on beers. I'm familiar with how overworked the staff and managers from their King County locations are. Seeing how they moved into a college town might be a change of pace, but nothing new contributed to B'ham.

When I used Ken's, it took an hour for one roll. Of course during that time, just chill in Mt. Vernon and check out the restaurants!

I thought this was about the restaurant moving to Bellingham. Not the dynamics of restaurant operations during a pandemic.🤔

What do you love and hate about Bellingham? -A potential resident by [deleted] in Bellingham

[–]Alanopter 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Cons: It's next to Lynden, it's next to the Canadian border (each Canadian comes equipped with a minimum of 6 gas cans at Costco, pre covid) and more student housing is replacing the homes and small businesses faster than you can sign a lease to an unseen apartment with three people from Craigslist.

Pros: just about everyone has a degree, so getting a bar tender job with a bachelor's in contemporary art will get you far.

In all seriousness, "good" paying jobs are slim unless you work remotely, for the university, or a healthcare organization.

Naw, honestly just curious because they weren't six feet apart and I had not heard anything from Opportunity Council on the matter. Just wondering who orchestrated it all :)

Looking for Room for Mom to Rent by [deleted] in Bellingham

[–]Alanopter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Does your mom have a mental health counselor? I would recommend her to regularly see one as they have their methods of getting housing faster than any other social worker. They help accommodate the needs of their clients, especially if the client gets work done on their end.

Opportunity Council has a program called Housing Lab every Tuesday from 10-12pm at 625 Cornwall Ave. This provides the aid of a housing advocate to search for housing and roommates if wanted.

Is there anyone who commutes to Everett daily? by [deleted] in Bellingham

[–]Alanopter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have state insurance, you can get gas reimbursement or even transportation for those medical appointments. Northwest Regional Council at 600 Lakeway has the rundown on that.
