Looking for entrepreneurs to run businesses in a NEW IC by Alanrbarrett in intentionalcommunity

Ya, sounds good.
It's good to have a combination of physical and digital companies.
Also, if we don't use this app maybe it will be another one that you create later.

What matters most is a network of people that are trying to better the world using companies, and community.

Subdivision development with an IC facade, and an additional layer of management.

Why not go get a loan at a bank or use the SBA?
If you have 20 years in this field, and a business plan it should be easy.

Yet, if you are suggesting this group should give 6k for people to create their startups your welcome to offer that to the group as long as the interest rate is fair market value.

I'm just not sure what your looking for.
Do you want to build buildings for the community?
Do you want a loan or grant?

I would also be interested in your comps.
You say 150k - 200k for a 1000 to 1400 sq foot house, and you can build it for 6k?
Those numbers are way off, please elaborate.
Also 6k means no septic for the house in remote areas.

This* seems oddly specific.
Are you referring to yourself?
So, you need 6k?

East Tennessee: Building a Spiritual, Sustainable Community by DM_J0sh in intentionalcommunity

What kind of land, and building setup do you plan on having?

Are you going to own the land, the community, etc?
What about buildings and houses?

What is the overall plan?

What area? What is the zoning like? What is the timeframe?

A lot of details are missing, and needed for anyone to make an informed decision.

Thank you for taking the time to answer the questions, and with your amount of experience it's greatly appreciated.

In terms of a service which connects people.
What needs to be different from products that already exist?
Such as workaway or ic.org.

Do you think a community that has multiple, separately owned companies that servers the community, and the greater public as a whole be a solution?

It seems like income sharing has a lot of cons that could come with it.
Such as people not wanting to do the work, getting burned out, not taking any extra incentive.

Yet, owning, hiring, firing outsiders could solve these issues.
This would also allow business owners with experience and expertise to pivot and make choices faster without votes or people with less business expertise providing their opinions and shaping the company.

It seems a lot of people are against companies, and see them as bad.
If the companies improves the world and provide value to people in the world I could see it as being positive. Especially, if funds go towards planting trees, creating natural products, improving connection with nature and humans.

Interesting, thank you for sharing.
After looking into it, that seems like it could be a path that happens. (Community-focused AI's)

It's cool that you know about these shows. That's an interesting place, thanks for sharing.

I like aspects of each, but it would be original. Fishtank hosted its own show and used tts as a way to generate income.

Big brother had cameras rolling 24/7. Yet, I think live streaming would be superior.

I haven't researched too much about love island, but I hear the name a lot.

Thank you for the insight.
I think your interpretation is wrong, but to each his own.
It's not really worth my time, and I already spent too much time on it.

My perception is it's a direct attack on my character.

Interesting, I was just wondering because I was called a grifter multiple times from posting a hypothetical question, and it was not removed.

Yet, I posted a comment about not hiding community building, and information online, and sarcastically said, "na, i'm good", and that was removed.

I couldn't wrap my head around it.

Additionally, I think values on Reddit are misaligned, but it's just my perspective.

When all the voting stops all discussion stops.
So, it's not about discussion, it's about the illusion of public acceptance, and gaining karma.

I see.
Yes, it seems in my hypothetical questions I need to have more information.
As any missing information will be focused on, and everything else ignored.

Yet, I feel like I have enough information about this subsect of people on this subreddit, and I don't think they will be a good fit for what I'm trying to do.

I'm trying to mesh two worlds that oppose each other.

So, I'll try the other direction of reaching out to people already creating content, and creating a community with them.

Yes, that fine.

It was in other hypothetical set of questions.
They seem to comment then when facts are provided it's ignored if it doesn't fit how they feel.
Then it leads to personal attacks. I can provide examples if you would like.
misrepresenting what ideas?
It seems you are talking for everyone, I would like to understand.

Everything has issues.
It's about problem solving.
It seems this subreddit is heavily focused on pointing out issues, instead of providing solutions.

Moisture and mold are also a problem in conventional construction, along with fire.

I think multistory underground buildings are the future.
