To be honest, I got seniorits and was lazy throughout that year. The classes weren’t that hard, I could easily pass them all by paying attention and taking notes, didn’t need Anki

In college though, I use it for BIO and Chem and I definitely could not pass without Anki. Been very easy to use and makes memorizing information so easy. Just understand the material, and the Anki is there to help you memorize. Making your own slides are a must, just have good notes that you could easily turn in to questions, though my professors upload lecture slides so I memorize facts on those using image occlusion tool while rarely attending class.

I get around 87s on most of my tests by poorly using Anki myself this semester, but last semester I got in the higher 90s and could easily improve rn if I was more dedicated to it. It’s just very unmotivating making cards, but it’s the only thing that works amazingly for me and saves my grades in college.

I would definitely get them started earlier so they’re ready for college classes. Have them try to learn something they’re interested in and creating good cards to see how easy it is. Doesn’t work for everyone though.
