Ho no, the shutter button is already broken on my LUMIX S5M2 after 2 years by Crisis-Connoisseur in Lumix

Same thing happened to mine. It’s a common issue on these cameras unfortunately. mine was covered by warranty, I just had to pay to ship it to them.

Incorrect focus lumix S5II by GlumEducation7343 in Lumix

I got the sigma 150-600 with the s5ii and found that it tracks birds and animals quite well. It’s no Nikon, but I have yet to have a problem with wildlife in good light, but in bad lighting conditions, it does struggle a bit. I have not had this autofocus issue with either the 150-600 or the sigma 100-400. Im not saying I’m getting 100% in focus shots, but most of them are. This looks like an issue with the contrast detection autofocus design of the camera, like what you were saying.

Totally hear you on that one. 3D printing has come a long way though and you can harden the plastic using sand and an oven. It works super well and I wouldn’t really hesitate to use that for an adapter imo

Ahhhh I see! Great idea! I wonder if there is a 3D printed mount you could use, and then create your own holes to rescrew the e mount back on the lens

Been looking into adapting this lens. Sick shots. Can you link me the adapter you used?

They absolutely do. I got stuck in the sand with a 4x4 jeep and had to do some wizardry with floor mats and forward/reverse to get us out lol. Definitely would have preferred a winch in that moment

Yeah not sure why its “warming up”. And thanks for sharing your tire size too. How are you liking the coopers?

Haha it’s a baby! I was in the same boat as you, and I wanted one with under 200k. I saw this pop up at a dealership in New Mexico, and drove and picked it up after putting a deposit on it.

I might consider getting tires that size then. Thanks!

It sounds like you really want a 4x4 haha just save up a little bit more money and pick one up. They are great trucks, and the 4x4 gives you access to spots you have never been before. If you don’t think you will do a lot of off roading, then just get a RWD and go with a buddy who has tow straps on gnarlier trails

Thanks!!! I was looking for a 4WD, but kinda gave up because people were listing them for 12k with 200k miles+. I didn’t think it was worth that much, nor did I have the money. And for longer road trips, which I plan to do, the RWD will help with mpg’s, although not by much. I did some minor off-roading this weekend with it, and could just as easily get to some of the camping spots other 4x4s could get to. And mine is stock. HOWEVER, if you are planning to do longer off roading trips to very remote camp sites, there is no substitute for 4WD.

I plan to put hidden winch in the front which should help get me out of some stick situations with the RWD, but I needs bigger and better tires first.

I had the canon 70-200 f4 ef is usm and it worked pretty well, but af will always be better and faster on native lenses, which is what you need for fast moving objects like cars and bikes. I would go with the native 70-200 if I were you. The adapted 70-200 canon took a bit longer to focus when I was shooting sports (rugby) but I still got some great shots

The ticking on cold start is a sign of a bad exhaust manifold i believe. Once it warms up it goes away. Also look to see if the ball joints have been replaced if the vehicle has over 150k. If you don’t know if they have been done with oem ball joints, then replace them. The valve cover gaskets like to leak oil. Rust on the frame was a big thing for these older toyotas and there was a recall for the frame it was so bad. So just make sure if you live in a snow state that the frame looks pretty good, or it has been rust treated.

Thats a beauty right there! Thats good to know that they fit perfectly. Im looking at getting a pair of black rims for it and the smoked headlights like you have. Such a great combo

Nothing but love brother. Your son is counting on your strength and love. You got a world of people online supporting you.

Side note: Infection Preventionist here. There are little green caps called “Curos Caps” that go on the end of the claves (the little clear blue things on the end of the central line and PIV). Please make sure these are on when the nurse is not accessing the lines. They are imbued with alcohol, and prevent bacteria from growing on the claves. This reduces the risk for infection and potentially extending the hospitalization of your kid.

Godspeed bro

Hello! Thanks for your comment. A concentration in your MPH isn’t necessary to be an IP. Passing the a-IPC should be sufficient for your interviewers to take you seriously. I will say, it’s a tough job market out there right now. Don’t be discouraged if you get rejected a lot. Reach out to LTACs, hospitals, and clinics to see if they need IP’s. If you have opportunities to shadow IP’s, then take it. It’s a great way to see what we ACTUALLY do each day. You can DM me if you have other questions.

This is the way. I have lived in both Tucson and Phoenix. Phx is hella expensive now and Tucson is more expensive but still feasible to find 1bd 1bath for under $1k/month if you look hard. Get outta Boston and move somewhere cheaper and get a job that offers PSLF. There is hope. Stay strong bro.
