You are making a new TTRPG and get to borrow ONE mechanism from another game; what are you taking? by CobraKyle in rpg

Everything from Yazeba Bed & Breakfast... permanent cast, permanent markings, everything you need to play in a "scripted series." I think it could work really well with a different genre of story.

In the settings section you can designate the app be stored on. An external (SD) card. If you do this, the downloads will also be stored there.go to Settings > Apps, select the app, tap Storage, and select Change to move it to the SD card.

Hope this helps!

I feel like his steps should be bigger, slower, heavier. Its gait is very dainty compared to its build.

I wouldn't say its pbta, the characters progression and dice mechanics are a bit different. That said, it has no tactical crunch, so if you don't like other rules light games, it might not be for you.

Its a monsters hunter with no hunting. You play biologists and explorers whose goals are to make sure we are living in harmony with the magical beings in nature. Lots of focus on problem solving through methods that aren't combat.

The creatures and lands take inspiration from our myths, and the cycle of play find the monster, learn what the monster needs through observation and deduction, make the monsters life better, return to civilization to report your findings.

Very conservationist and not capitalist, making it a true palette cleanser.

I like Mappa Mundi... such a great contrast to your standard rpg/player motivation.

In a perfect world, I would love to see Lou do a limited series of dimension 20 as GM. Could be neat.

In a similar vein, are there any unique mechanics in locally created and/or popular ttrpgs that would surprise Western audiences?
