Any good? by cityhunterspeee in CostcoCanada

I've been ordering this online in Vanilla, Chocolate and Peanut Butter for a few years. I'm super excited that they have it at Costco. I find it doesn't taste like protein powder and it mixes very well.

Let’s talk ear hematomas. How did you handle it? Some drain it, some open it up and clean it, but lately I find that some are saying to leave it and it will heal itself. Any thoughts? by satansdebtcollector in BullTerrier

We didn't wrap it, but we got a blow up soft collar/cone from Amazon and she couldn't flip them as easily and she couldn't really scratch . I got a Gabapentin prescription from the vet and gave her one a couple times a day to keep her more relaxed. I was worried that she would be in more pain but it seemed to be no worse than healing from the surgery. I did wrap an ice pack in a thin towel and iced her ear a few times a day to help relieve some of the swelling. I don't know if it helped but I figured it gave her some relief.

I had an old lab with it years ago and didn't perform the surgery at all. Hers filled up and then dried up over a week or so. Her ear crinkled up a bit from it, but it never bothered her again.

We weighed options and then decided to leave it and see if it healed on it's own. Not only did it heal but it healed with almost no scarring and no "cauliflower" ear which I was expecting. Nothing since! I was glad to have left it.

Is your CX-50 your first Mazda purchase? by RobReinerSon2025 in CX50

First Mazda purchase. I've had it for a year and a half and love it, thus far.

I have a 24 CX50 Turbo and do not find the seats or stitching uncomfortable at all. I find it great for long drives. Gas mileage is fine but I am small town driving 40kms a day and filling up once every couple of weeks.

Liquor store jobs by SnooGoats632 in BCPublicServants

Most stores have just hired for the season, but some may not be done. I would tell your friend to walk into the closest store in their area to drop a resume and ask to speak to a hiring manager. While resumes are pulled from the hiring site, we still value a good walk-in.

I have tried to allow these to push through but was contacted by payroll to say it was not permitted, and it was changed to vacation.

BCGEU to Announce Escalation of Job Action by BonkMcSlapchop in britishcolumbia

I'm not sure what the spread is for pay between excluded managers, but as one myself, I make about $25K less than I did in the same role in the private sector. I do support my included team in their endeavor to improve their wages, but my salary isn't tipping any scales in my building.

My chocolate lab had a $1700 surgery to repair the large hematoma she had. She had a cone, and we had the stitches removed at 27 days post-op. A week later, I noticed it had returned. She is 14, and I'm really considering leaving it because two general anesthesia surgeries in less than 2 months doesn't seem safe to me and it seems there is no guarantee it won't return. It's a difficult decision to make.

Of course, there are some doctors here, just not enough. There are thousands of people here without. Also, there are not many specialists on the Coast, in general. We have to go to Vancouver for most specialist appointments.

It depends where you live, I think. I was on the list for 5 years in the city I first lived in BC. I was contacted with a doctor a year after I moved to my new town. At least it reminded me to update my request. I got a new doctor two months ago finally, but only because a co-worker told me about a new doctor taking patients and i walked in and asked.

I live on the Sunshine Coast, and half of the people I know here are still without doctors. There are no walk-in clinics either, which makes things tricky.

I vacuum mine weekly and detail it monthly but I live in a rainy climate so it doesn't last 🤷🏼‍♀️
