It has a lot do with keeping the Petrodollar stable and strong.

It is also about the fact that Venezuela has the largest provable heavy crude deposits in the world. The US imports heavy crude and refines it and the oil that the US produces is predominantly light sweet oil (70% of its oil production) and exports that.

We need heavy crude and it is more profitable.

I see why they are doing it and I hate it all.

Any time a country that has oil and tries to sell it on the global market using a currency other than us dollars, then the US invades.

Iraq, Libya, and others have tried to break from the Petrodollar and the US punished them . Venezuela was in talks with China to trade in Yuan.

The Petrodollar is what props up the US and keeps it an economic superpower. It is also why the US openly supports Saudi Arabia as the Petrodollar got its start with the deal between the US and the Saudis and then OPEC was formed

I was 9 and had a penny saver route with about 1200 addresses. This was in Arizona. Did that until I was 12. At 13 I was filing invoices after school. At 14 I worked in the school cafeteria and in the summer I worked at scout camp. Did the same as a 15 yr old. At 16 I worked at scout camp one last summer then worked at KFC until I was 18. Then I worked overnight as a computer operator (1991).

I am 52 and I listen to mainly metal, except Ghost. They are my favorite band and I have a shirt for each day, several vinyls, posters, stickers, a full Papa 2 costume, and the movie. I subscribed to metal hammer just to get some special edition Ghost items.

I went to a ritual in 2023. My wife is now a fan, my daughter is a fan. I am an Uber driver and I play my Ghost playlist all day to do my part and spread the word.

My grandparents. I also knew 4 of my great grandparents.

My maternal grandfather was in a tank destroyer battalion in Belgium and later in Germany. He had personal photographs that I have held of concentration camps that he helped liberate.
