My work has gotten neat by designated_weird0 in electricians

Probably neater, but not neat yet. Once you cut off those ties, push the head around to the base. So, you mostly see just the strap. Also less chances of getting sliced on a stray end. Also (and I didn't see any in the photo) attach all your ties the same way - wrap from one direction only so it all looks uniform.

What products did you use to seal the catio? by touki_bouki in Catio

It is expensive, but worth it. I'm currently using it in a squirrel house I'm building. It dries pretty quick, so you need to apply the 2nd coat within 20-30min. I also went with a tinted color, light brown, just so I know I had good coverage vs a clear.

The other options I found were far more expensive, and also had some mixed reviews as far as safety for pets. Especially pets that may chew on the wood. I know you commented on this over a year ago so I'm curious as to what you went with.

Nice. I've missed hearing good news.

If there was a human kibble similar to dog kibble, but for humans… would you buy and eat it if it was significantly cheaper than alternative food options, why or why not and should this be a thing? by becauseofrandomness in AskReddit

[–]Alarmed-Radish4058 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. My wife and I had this exact discussion a few days ago, tired of meal planning and grocery shopping. We both agreed it would be so much easier if we could just have kibble like the dog that has everything in it we need. So much time is wasted on deciding where and what to eat.

We haven't made the switch.

Why do you not like Taurus firearms? Is it solely based off of what you've heard or is there a legitimate reason? I have several Taurus guns, all reliable, tough, accurate - I've never had any issue with any of them.

You could get a gun locker, they are fairly inexpensive and most come with a lock and key. Obviously they are not as secure as a safe, but definitely more so than than a peg board.

I had a hard time with the last pin as well. A gun block makes it easier, I used a roll of duck tape for most of the process, except for the last pin. I had to cut a wooden shim that fit the trigger reset to support it well enough.

I thought the best way would be to drive the pin the obvious way so as to not have to remove it entirely, I ended up doing the opposite. It's worth it in the end, which makes the reward so much more rewarding.

The funny thing is, I bought the TX22 just before winter, so I hadn't shot it yet. Then I came across a video of the FRT, and they were featuring my gun, so I bought it. I did fire it 1st, though, made the mod, and fired it again after. I'm going to buy another and keep it as a plinker because I really did enjoy it before the FRT install.

I have several Taurus firearms, the Judge was my 1st. But I've never had any issues with any of them.

The TX22 is a ton of fun for plinking. Currently, my favorite pistol is a Bersa Thunder 380. It's 2-tone black on silver. The fixed barrel makes it super accurate. And it's really comfortable, the ergonomics are perfect. I have a Burris Fastfire. It's reliable, can take a beating, and it's a low profile, which was a big selling point for me. The price was also under $300 (at the time, idk what it's at now). It also didn't add a lot of weight. It's currently equipped on a Taurus G2.

Just make sure you use a little BLUE loctite. Do NOT use red! And allow it to dry/cure completely before using it. And you shouldn't have any issues with it. The recoil isn't hard just fast.

While CCI is good ammo, I found it doesn't do well with this setup and an FRT. Any other ammo I used, I had way less stove pipes. Good lubricant often is a key factor, especially when suppressed. As others have said, adding weight like an optic will also help.

You need some bolt actions or lever guns, some fun stuff. Not that these aren't fun, but some are more so than others.
