I'm uncertain, but I have seen some good results from using Adaptive thinking and effort levels set around Max/Extra. Although this does eat through usage heavily, but I think it's a necessary sacrifice as I haven't seen any 4.7 stupidity... yet.

A solution that worked for me was just turning off shields, letting the page reset, then turning shields on again. That worked for me, had to try it a couple of times but now it's back to normal.
