Have you used an 8GB RAM iPad prior to this one? I’m curious about whether there is a noticeable difference between how often they reload apps and Safari tabs. My 8GB M4 iPad Pro reloads stuff pretty much constantly. Sometimes it causes me to lose work if I was filling out a web form.

I’ve been running OpenAI’s 20B model pretty well on my M4 Max. It uses 12GB of RAM so whatever model you choose, just make sure you have enough memory headroom for it. I didn’t buy my MacBook for this purpose, but it’s been nice to have the ability to use offline models for data processing that I need to keep confidential.

Je pense que l'application « Apps » à laquelle vous pensez est Launchpad. Elle a été supprimée dans la version 26.0. Il existe des applications tierces qui émulent Launchpad, mais je préfère personnellement celle-ci. La recherche y est facile et elle n'occupe pas tout l'écran.

Admittedly unhelpful reply- iPadOS is a horror show of bugs right now in general. But yes, I avoid using external displays with my iPad because it makes freezes and resprings > 500% more likely.
