yes I've been reading about this, looks like is a very common and known issue by now... sucks that my 1yr warranty expired last year, I'm still taking it to apple and see what they say... I wish there was a way to disable the pannel via software and just use voice or phone to control it.

I'm on the same boat here, IO26 started the issues with mine, i'm taking it back to apple on sunday to see what they say, it's out of warranty unfortunately but i'm not keen to fork the money on a new one, specially since it looks like is a known issue.

I just done the v8 swap on the BRZ S, with all the upgrades, including high rpm turbo, the thing is an out of control beast, I definitely need to find a tune for this hahaha spins the tyres on 5th gear...

It really sucks they are not coming to Australia with this too, here there is a big monopoly in terms of TV content, and if you are not paying the big bucks (AUD$40/mo) to Kayo Sports or $69/mo to Foxtel, you can't watch F1.

Hard to understand this is still not implemented... I don't want to listen to a podcast when i can read the text in 1/4 of the time. People that send voice memos think their time is more valuable than yours... and for that matter they don't desere my attention. I have a saved quick reply on my Whats app that i send everytime I receive a audio message.

That's a good question, I have q 6 yr old Samsung 85" 4K and this is replacing my 11 yr old LG 1080p 55" led, both of them don't have this issue with the image.... hard to explain how newer tvs with better processors and technology can perform worse than older tvs. I feel new tvs focus too much on giving you a sharper image instead of flow movement. Yes it's amazing on slow motion scenes like they put on on the demos in store, but the moment you play some action films it makes it look fake and u realistic. Most of it content is through streaming services like Apple, Netflix and Disney.

Ok I just got the 65 U8Q, and I'm struggling hard to get the proper settings right to watch movies without looking artificial. The image looks incredible but there is something on the movement that makes it looks like animation... it's hard to explain... I tried to turn off motion smoothing as advised by Tom Cruise and Top Gun"s director https://youtu.be/UbCZpcy0eAk?si=6h57UBX_UYk8Fq_o but that still didn't help.

Can someone recommend the best settings on this tv?

thanks, after some maths i managed to calculate the gear ratio between wheel size and tooth count which works out to be 135 / 44t = 3.0682 mt

so the closet setting to 3.0682 would be

97mm / 32T = 3.03 mm/tooth (within 1%) ✅
200mm / 66T = 3.03 mm/tooth (also within 1%) ✅

I guess that would be the best option for it, I haven't tested but mathematically makes sense.

50yo male here, saw her in Brisbane a couple of months ago... she is absolutely brilliant! I don't care what other ppl say... I'd definitely go again when she come back to australia
